I don't think it's due to the holidays, either, since the other forums are visited quite often by others.

That's  because most people here are bit lazy and cannot be bothered to post their natal chart for analysis from astro. I cannot be bothered to use my own time and energy doing the calculations.

then we have the other aspect of non specific questions about a person's life as if astrologers are 'fortune tellers' which they are not. Astrology cannot answer everything. Maybe horary astrology can, but I don't specialise in this, just natal. It takes years and years of studying, reading, practise and lots of people come here and never return, don't contribute anything and just demand a free reading as it that entitles them somehow.

Sorry for the rant, but I would have thought this pretty obvious by now.
You can get a free chart from www astro dot com, plus they have an 'interactive' service for interpretations, plus composite/synastry 'partner charts' freely interpretated on line.

I understand your frustration with those that post once and never return. Not everyone that asks something on this site is like that, though. Quite a few of us are here because we want to learn more on what interests us, contribute in some way in hopes it helps someone, etc.

I know how and where to get a birth chart. I own software that produces those. If I had wanted a reading on it, I would have posted a chart with an inquiry.  My post was made back in December. I just found it odd that there were many posts and replies on this part of the site, then it suddenly got very quite on both ends.

For Horary - its frustrating when a question
is posed without adequate information to
draw the chart.

In addition, sometimes the question is posed
so that the houses are difficult to resolve.
Getting this clarified can take weeks by which
time focus on spending the hour or two
in subsequent resolution has evaporated.

I do a fair amount of research and training
in addition to my normal clients and then
chasing non-paying clients around creates
a perception that perhaps they are really after
some other form of reading like Tarot
or I-Ching or whatever.. this subtle form
of passive resistance tires...

Airgon, I've made an horary chart for myself from this past Monday regarding a question that has been on my mind for some time. I'll post it later on and attempt to explain what I've learned from it so far.
