Hi Tarun –

Are you male or female?

I can tell you a few things about your chart according to Western Astrology; for sidereal you will have to ask someone else. Sidereal
would rotate your chart roughly 23 degrees, and place your planets in different signs of the Zodiac.

THE PATTERN is a Bowl, because all of your planets are grouped within one hemisphere or 180 degrees. You gave IST, but in July,
Daylight Time might have been in effect, but either way, most of your planets would remain in the Eastern Hemisphere. This represents
the type of person who goes out to meet life, because the East is where the new day dawns. So you look for adventure, and are not willing to wait to see what life might bring to you.

This is in perfect accord with your Sun in Cancer (a Cardinal or Active mode), as is Mars. And the latter is your most elevated planet ….

So you are an energetic person who reaches for success.

We think of the Sun as ‘purpose giving’ or ‘life giving’, but it also represents the center around which the other planets orbit. Therefore
the Sun represents the principle of integration in your chart, how you get all of the other planetary powers to work together, so you can
achieve the fullest development of your potential.

In the sign of Cancer (Tropical Astrology), this represents growth through a repolarization of your personality. On a cyclical basis, it shifts the focus from the Self (Spring season) to Family and your place in society (Summer). You are finding a firm basis for who you are as a member of a family.

But with Mars in that same sign (and house), you are also filled with passion and a sense of purpose. The symbol for Mars is the Circle (Brahman), rising up through the cross – so acting to energize all matter.

Your Sun is in trine aspect to Jupiter, the Lord of Fortune and therefore expansion, beneficence and growth. You are optimistic, generous and thus able to expand via your participation in society. Jupiter, oddly, is on the cusp of Sagittarius, a fire sign, while Cancer is a water sign. But, by being in orb, this suggests you can work equally well in both Fire and Water. And we can also add idealism to your tools of survival.

Your Sun is trine to your Moon, the Yin side of your nature, and your ‘connectedness’ to all of life. So, you are in complete harmony with yourself naturally, a conjunction that many of us have to work hard to develop. Your Moon is in Scorpio, an intense water sign. So you are quite able to keep your own counsel, knowing that if you tell others too much about yourself, you give away your power.

But Scorpio seeks to transcend all limitations so I would hazard a guess that as you grow older you will naturally be drawn to religious or spiritual values.

Your Sun is square to Pluto, the slow moving planet which seems to relate to the regeneration of society – a whole generation of humans. Your Pluto is in Libra, and Air sign, but also Cardinal, so clashes with Cancer. Libra relates to a repolarization, not of the individual, but of all society. So you will be caught up in the ‘new wave’, and – when your generation comes into power (in another twenty years), you will be looking for new solutions to old ways. Some call Scorpio the sign of rebirth. You can probably feel this type excitement already stirring within you.

IF your birth time is IST and not DST, then your Sun is in the tenth house of ambition, and you WILL always strive to succeed. And, by the rule that what we want badly enough is what we get, you should succeed quite well in Life.

If your time is IST, then Pluto is in the first house, and you will project yourself in a way that could mean you are – in a sense, ‘reborn’ during each new cycle of your life.

This is not a full chart reading, but should be enough so you can compare it with your other reading.

In my experience, a sidereal reading gives a slightly different view of the native, but is as close as -- say, a Solar Chart, which also rotates the planets into quite different houses.

Hi –

No matter what system of reading is used, your success is totally up to you. If you look at the famous athletes or musicians, they have a gift that they recognize, hopefully at an early age, and then devote their lives to developing that gift, practicing for hours every day at the tennis court, the piano, the ice rink, or in a library -- whatever. And the skill they develop brings them much more than status, recognition and money: they achieve the satisfaction of knowing they are doing work they are specially equipped to perform.

You have certain gifts which you will not fully understand until you are older, begining (probably) with age 28. So now is the time for study, for practice, and for honing your skills. And, with patience, you will surely see your particular path in life with great clarity.

Your chart shows special gifts in working with people (Sun in Cancer) and a drive to succeed (Sun and Mars in Cancer, in 10th house). Further, you instinctively know how to make an optimum use of your own and others resources -- (Moon in Scorpio, in second house). The Moon gives a practical expression to the Sun’s purpose, and also connects you to others and to the outside world. Your Consciousness thus gets focused on the material foundations that support us.

Moon in Scorpio intensifies your need to participate with others in sex, in relationships and in business. Further, with Uranus in the second house, you are very inventive is seeing how resources can be applied during any situation. And, as co-ruler, with Saturn of the Water Sign, this suggests you can always find ways around some (Saturnian) limitation that arises. I mention this because both Pluto (ruler of your Moon’s sign) and Saturn (exalted in your Rising Sign, Libra) are both found in your first house of Self.

Your rising sign (Libra) thus adds power to your Moon and Uranus in the second house. So, your natural gifts are of great advantage in the business world. And you are very creative, (Venus in Virgo, in 11th house), but in a practical way; you will also do well working in a large organization, with other people.

Your rising sign is Libra, so we know you will project yourself into your environment as if it were your special task to find ways to balance and harmonize whatever work is presented to you. This sign specifically represents how you succeed in expanding your self into a greater whole. Saturn in Libra and in the first house of self suggests excellent powers of focus and concentration – and which powers (as we have already mentioned) are inspired by the presence of Uranus in the second house). Pluto in Libra marks an entire generation finding new rules and codes that give greater meaning to Life. Pluto in the first house of self suggests an ability to keep re-inventing yourself; some call this spiritual rebirth, but it is the same thing.

Finally, there is an ancient Chaldean technique which relates your Rising sign to your Sun sign, and this procedure says that Pisces is your Karmic challenge for this lifetime, while Gemini is your solution.

You have no planets in Pisces, but the cusp of Pisces is on the sixth house of Work (Empty). So, your work in Life is your Karmic challenge for you to solve. So we look to the rulers of Pisces (Jupiter and Neptune) and find them both in Sagittarius. There are different ways to interpret this; what comes to me (and may be wrong) is that you have, perhaps, a tendency to interpret Idealism as a rigid adherence to old rules and beliefs. If so, then Life will definitely change you.

The scooping planet on your Bowl is Mars, so each cycle of the Sun will find you energetically scooping up the challenges of Life. The trailing planet is Neptune, so you end this six-months later with reflection on how your deeper spiritual insights might still make this particular year and more creative year.

Your solution sign is Gemini, and there are no planets there, but this sign is on the cusp of the ninth house of religion, higher learning, and how we codify our moral leanings. So – this fits rather neatly with much we said earlier.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, but that is such a hard planet to understand, I will leave it to life to teach you the necessary lessons. BUT – since Mercury is in Leo, and in the tenth house of success, you will definitely learn the subtleties of your own mind in time.

So, patience too is required, whether or not this is easy for you.
