I was born sun Capricorn and moon Pisces.
I was also exactly three months premature.
Thankfully I am healthy.

The description of this one fits me, and it's crazy how much I am like the one of my due date.

I am self-centered, self-willed and impatient.
I am not quietly ambitious within the realms of the possible, and I do not like and take on responsibility.

My Strength: Very good education, she is also a good talker. She likes to travel, to write, to increase her knowledge.
My Weaknesses: likes to puff herself up with grandiose speeches or fine words. Does not listen to others but likes to be listened to.

Not My Strength: She likes the good things in Life and knows how to profit from them. She controls and administers her affairs, money well.
Not My Weakness: She is a little too obsessed by increasing her material possessions, money. Has too great a desire to possess, to be powerful.

I am self-critical but I really don't care if people do not like me.
I don't do well with money but I am very creative with how I should spend it.

And I love writing and art.
I hate business and leisure.

I despise liars and I am almost always nervous but do what I have to and thrive off the adrenaline.

I agree with my mother on this one, I WAS TOO IMPATIENT TO BE BORN ON MY DUE DATE.

I could seriously go on and on.

I've never felt I could relate to the Capricorn personality much or ever.
I am almost nothing like a Capricorn. My personality is very much like an Aries.

I downloaded the Zodiac Sign Software earlier today and I tried both birth dates (January 12th and April 12th)

The Aries reading was me! Everything was me (sadly even the negative but whatever).

And the Capricorn was almost exactly the opposite of me.

I realize that the natal chart for the Aries has a lot of Capricorn in some planets. I'm sort of confused as to what I should consider my sign. All traits for me point to Aries... so yes I kind of already do consider myself an Aries.

Aside from my premature birth my brother was born two weeks late.
He was born under the sun Virgo and moon Sagittarius.

He's personality is dead on the one of a Leo.

So I guess any insight and opinions are appreciated here.

unless I read your long email rather hastily, I don't seem to recall you giving any birthdata at all!
EDDDs can be off by as much as 2 weeks from what I hear. How do you know what would have been your ACTUAL expected moment of birth?

when you had your first breath is the time to reckon with, the ifs are but nothing rather than the product of fruitful imaginations. What we percieve is what we want to match out with. So what you are trying to do is match up to your if specifications , nothing more and nothing less. There is no astrology involved in this rather you are trying to place the jigsaw of your if imagination to match your perceptions about self.

So, if I understand you correctly, it is your hypothesis that your personality and natal chart are more accurately reflected by your due date than your actual birth date?

The accepted wisdom is that the "energy" in force at the moment that you (everyone) take your first breath is when the personality is imprinted upon the body/soul.  If this is not accurate, then perhaps we should consider the moment of conception as our natal chart?

Interesting idea, perhaps, worthy of some study.  Because, you see, if what you propose is correct, then ALL people would find this same problem with their birth charts...whether born 2 minutes early or 2 months!

But, let's take a quick look...anyway.  This is cross-posted in Western, but I don't see any reason to write the same thing in both places, so I'll use Western calculations.  To prove your hypothesis, there would need to be NO OTHER explanation in the natal chart to give you the characteristics of your "due date."  Let's see if this holds true.

you say your "sun" is more like an aries than a capricorn.
However, your MARS is in Aries.  This puts mars in an exhalted position, so that you would have strong Aries characteristics, NO MATTER where your sun sign might be!  So, this explains why you believe you are more "aries" than Capricorn.

You say your moon is more like Cancer than a Pisces.  Yet, both are water signs, so both would show similar characteristics virtually indistinguishable from each other at times.  So, you cannot say that you are more Cancer than Pisces.

You say your mercury is more like Taurus than Aquarius.  Perhaps you could explain how your mind works more like a Taurean than an Aquarian???  Just by observation, your proposal and desire to investigate your natal chart and alternate natal charts is much more likely to come from an Aquarian mercury (mind) than a Taurus mind!  A Taurean wouldn't bother to think about something like that...they are so fixed-minded that something different would never occur to a Taurean!  So, again, your hypothesis does not seem likely!

You say your venus is more like an Aries than a Capricorn.  So, please explain how your approach to romance is more like an Aries than a Capricorn?  An Aries is going to just plunge right ahead and go for it without a thought for the consequences!  This isn't to say that a capricorn has no passion (because cappys definitely do!), but a cappy will be more "down to earth" than consumed with the fire of the moment.

You say your mars is more like a gemini than an Aries.  So, you keep several projects going at once, can never keep your energies focused on anything, because you have more and more things going at once?  Or, do you just drive straight ahead to what you want or towards the things that interest you?  I think you'll find that your drives and energy match closer with the Aries!  (And by the way, here's that Aries again that could make you believe you have more Aries than Cappy in your Venus type endeavors!)

I think I've said enough.  I think there is ample information in your natal chart, the real one, to say you are exactly like your natal chart.  The things that you are seeing that seem to describe you more accurately on your "due date" are just easily described and explained by things in your real natal chart.  I'd suggest before you consider that you are really something else that you have a qualified and experienced astrologer go through your chart with you, so you will understand you true potentials, talents, and the things you need to work on in this life.  

And THIS is why I truly find pre-printed, cookbook, cracker-jack box astrology an aggravation, because they can't begin to be accurate without looking at the ENTIRE chart, not just the sun sign, the Ascendant, and/or moon sign!
