Your Moon is Square Mars: an area you can work on through this challenge is to work on your tolerance and quick temper. This is a placement that will allow you to learn self control and the ability to channel energy into constructive venues. Since this is an 8th House to 5th House issue, we’re looking at things that have to do with sexual relationships maybe – and/or your family. The energy you have is very creative – so I’d give this a lot of work. More clues can be found in the sign/house placement of the Moon telling me that you tend to want to be a loner when under stress (stress that this aspect is likely to cause) and you probably get angry about imagined slights (because you are quite the mind reader when it comes to how people really feel).
Your Moon is also Square Uranus. This is showing a tendency toward unpredictable emotional behavior – and you won’t back down! This is going to make the Moon’s lessons even more difficult to learn – but the plus side is that obviously, the rewards will be great.
Also in the Eighth House, Sun Squares both Mars and Uranus. This can make you a huge risk taker! Just like your Moon Squares, this shows an impulsive nature (something to learn to control) and a very stubborn tendency to have it your way.
Because of the placement of your Sun, I can seriously understand why this has become an important question for you (how can I grow up?).
Venus is Square Neptune, suggesting you are unrealistic in your expectations of others in your personal relationships. You may have a tendency to feel let down by others, placing the blame on them and feeling like the victim. It would be wise to learn to work on self-esteem issues and temper your expectations of others.
Jupiter Square Chiron, the Asteroid that signifies the “wounded healer” in us, also reminds me that you have some self-worth issues to consider. Try not to look too much for the answers in other people – you have the ability to find them in yourself. Take for instance the question in this forum you are asking: already you know you need to do these things. Become more grounded in reality as it is (live life on life’s terms) and also explore your childhood relationship with your Father. How has that impacted you in negative ways that you can learn to readdress?
Saturn, the lord of restrictions, is opposite Chiron – in some way I believe your father rejected you (either absent or over demanding). As a result, you have these deep rooted issues and may have a tendency to repeat this pattern of feeling rejected by others. It’s an opportunity to face a need for discipline over emotions in order to discover your natural powers of authority and wisdom.
