I would like astrology reading for my career.  Date of birth: 20/3/1954 at 7.30am.  Bimingham, UK

I am confused about where to go in my career for 2007, my finances at the moment are in a state!

Also, my Dad died March 12th this year, would this show up in my chart as Pluto leaving my 7th house? Or would it have anything to do with Jupiter return?

I'm sorry if I am requesting too much information, if I am then just concentrate on one situation and ignore the other, don't want to be a nuisance.

Hi Dreamfairy,
I checked your chart on my software, and I found Pluto in the 8th, with no Jupiter return.  Is that the right place name? And are you using Placidus or Koch?
Let me know,

Hi Gentlesorp,

I'm using Campanus House System. which was recommended by the teacher of the astrology course I am going to, she said it was the best house to use for karmic astrology, which is the area I want to go deeper into in the future.   Pluto has left 7th house and is now in 8th housein this house system.  I looked at the Placidus and Koch house system and I hadn't realised what a difference the Campanus house is to these other two, in the Placidus and Koch system Pluto is nearing the end of the 8th house whereas in the Campanus House system its at the beginning! So it is a bit confusing.

Also, sorry I meant Jupiter opposition, transit Jupiter opposite my natal Jupiter, not return. I hope this clears the confusion.  Could you tell me anything about career or my financial situation? Or anything in my chart that would indicate the upheaval in my life due to my dad dying.  I appreciate your help.

Hi Dreamfairy,
Yes, Campanus did make quite a difference!  There is much debate on which system is right. It makes sense to me for you to stay with the one your teacher is using.

First let me say I am sorry for your loss.  I am sure things will settle down and we can save that for another discussion.  If you want a pointer to your chart and where the upheaval is, look to 3 planets:  the Moon as ruler of the 4th house (endings), Saturn (father), and Pluto (transformational change).  You'll find relevant activity in the natal and progressed charts between these three planets and Uranus (upheaval) on March 12.

As for your career, your work and your finances, you have some lovely natal aspects that should always carry you to your dreams.  Your north node is in your 10th house.  Make use of your gifts and talents given by your north node and you will win. Your Neptune is trine Jupiter which gives you the ability to manifest your wishes.   Your 10th house ruler (saturn) is trine your second house ruler (mercury).

What may be causing confusion in your life is Transiting Neptune square natal Neptune in your 6th house of daily work.  You're probably learning this in your class; this transit will confuse things for a little while as it is a major midlife cycle.  Everything becomes vague and out of focus for a while and this is alarming, especially because your Uranus cycle may still be causing ripples of unease.   It's a little like being in a boat on a lake without oars.  Eventually you will drift ashore, because that is the nature of water and wind.  The destination is not one you would have chosen, but in retrospect it usually turns out to be the one that works out best for you.

Work through this by asking yourself:
What beliefs about myself and my world do I now realize to be false?
How have i been fooling myself
What unnecessary sacrifices have i been making?
What place does my spiritual life occupy in my life as a whole?
What do i think is the meaning of my life?

I realize these are general thoughts.  I wanted to give you a starting place so you can dig deeper looking at your chart since (I suspect) you'll be studying it.  If you have questions, just ask!
