In this lesson, we are going to start learning about that lesson's subjects all at once, instead of spreading them out over different sections for the houses, planets and sun signs.

I'll talk about these a little more later.  But, today, I'm pressed for time, so I'm just going to post the graphics, and ask you to start doing your research on these things.  The graphics are for your index cards and notebooks.

Why would Mercury be combined with Gemini, Virgo, the 3rd and 6th Houses?  Why is Gemini and Virgo combined at all?  And why combine the 3rd House and 6th House into one lesson?  How are these things related to each other?

Hint:  we are doing something entirely new and different this week.

Okay heres what I have been mostly thinking ( since it was indeed Wednesday) and the air element is really high !

Making links from your notes:
Mercury-Communication,Earth,Cold and Dry

Gemini-Thinking,Air,Masculine
3rd House-Social and Intellect /Interactions with near and dear ones

Virgo-I serve/Mutable/Feminine
6th house-Daily life/Work environment/health on a daily basis/desire to improve
*******************************

Taking Wiki's help again
The assignments of the ruling planets appear to be based upon the seasons in the Northern Hemisphere, as the sun and moon, the principal bearers of light and heat, were awarded to Leo and Cancer, respectively since the months the sun passed through these signs (in ancient times) were the warmest and had the longest days.
Conversely, Saturn, the most distant (and hence the "coldest") of the planets known to ancients, was accorded the rulership of Aquarius and Capricorn, the signs opposite Leo and Cancer, respectively.
Jupiter, being next furthest away, was given the signs on either side of Aquarius and Capricorn (Pisces and Sagittarius), and Mars, next in order, received the next two (Aries and Scorpio).
Since Mercury never appears more than one sign from the sun in either direction, it was deemed to rule the two signs on either side of Leo and Cancer (Virgo and Gemini), and since Venus can never be found more than two signs from the Sun, it obtained the rulership of Libra and Taurus.
*******************************

Gemini is the natural domicile of the third. It also indicates sibling whom we interact (air/gemini) with daily ( brother and sisters). The third house also indicates effort.

6th house represents the area where we serve. Could be our office or work environment ( Virgo ).It also indicates health issues.

Our service area/office  becomes the 4th to the 3rd. It could be the area where we do feel peaceful.

Also since it was a Wednesday yesterday I did think about the combinations of the 3rd and 6th but to be creative ( 5th house) the other indicators of the 5th house ( children) somehow get also get activated lol and 5th being 12 to 6th...somehow dont let me reach my temp office...

Remember our discussions about the chart as a journey?  Or, each Sign building upon the sign before it?

The realm of the 3rd House becomes expressed in the 6th through mercury.  Does your interaction with brother, sisters, later become expressed with coworkers and other areas of the 6th when older?

Things you learned (mercury) in the 3rd House, as an "apprentice" (3rd House), with perfection and practice (Virgo) become expressed in the 6th House (work and life endeavors).

Also, do you see that the 3rd/6th Houses, begin a "pattern" that is completed with the 9th and 12th?  (a square pattern).

Does that help you start to see how all these things are related?

Yes interactions with siblings def shape/thoughts ( Gemini-Air) express in our interactions with our co-workers( Virgo-Earth)

I see the 3-6-9-12 pattern as the square.
Air-Earth-Fire-Water
Yang-Yin-Yang-Yin
All Cadent
All Mutable.
The signs of last month of season.
The area of challenge and efforts. Change and adaption??
