It has been a very rough year for me so far, in 2011.  Broke up with fiance, was very sick and still recovering and general uncerianty looms large, in regards to my career.  I wonder when things might look up.

I have always been somewhat lucky, never anything too bad, but now nothing seems to go right and generally bored with life now.

I know I do not have a heck of a lot of aspects in my natal with just planets.  The ones I do have, are lots of trines and conjunts, not many squares or opposites, so maybe I need more of a challange, but just have this aimless energy.  Where could that be coming from?

Any advice on career?  This is of much concern to me.  THANKS for any input.

It could be coming from your lack of a challenge. When people aren't challenged enough they tend to get bored and/or restless (in my experience). Without anything to put your "energy" into there isn't much you can do about your boredom. I suggest taking up a creative hobby, or perhaps try something spiritual that can fulfill you.

This advice is purely optional. I can't tell you what to do, and honestly I don't know how to answer your question.

2011 has also been difficult for me. It seems you've had it rough so far. I've had things fairly easy, yet I do feel very burdened and this year was the first I ever felt that way. When you feel melancholic, it's good to put that negativity to something creative. A lot of good writers did their best work when depressed yet also led very sad lives.
