Well predictions are good, & as everyone knows anything in extreme amounts is bad, even Amrutha (The Nectar of Immortal Life) becomes poison.

Astrology has been from the beginning about prediction and mostly aimed at predicting the outcomes of wars, drought, famines, and other plagues of cities. Later on it became associated with personal prediction rather than society at large until finally it became into what modern western astrology is today, and that is to analyze the individual being of a person and the makeup of who they are. Astrological prediction is very accurate, but only so if you can break down the system to the most minute points. Otherwise its very general and vague (like Sun Signs for instance in your local paper). As for astrological symbols, I have posted regarding this already(if thats what your refering to as symbols).
