I have A male friend of mine everyone keeps saying is perfect for me- I feel like we are 'too similar', and I am not really very physically or sexually attracted to him though I will admit he is a good looking guy, usually my 'type'

Looking at our synastry, our charts are almost mirror images but occupy together only a very small section of the entire chart (I have no idea wheather the shape of the composite chart even has any meaning)

Using a point system we have no -4 aspects (very negative)
and very few -3, the few negative aspects we do have are minor. In fact, we have very few major aspects all together except my sun (virgo) opposition his sun (pisces) and my moon (cancer) opposition his moon (capricorn) - having very few or no negative aspects, does this mean there is no chemistry there? No spark?

Also, can anyone tell me more about moon in Capricorn? I hear it is a very emotionally aloof moon...

Wow, just based off of the Sun & Moon signs (I don't know the degrees- it depends if they are "within orb") but sheesh! That sounds like some great chemistry! Your Cancer Moon is supported by his Pisces Sun, and like-wise your Virgo Sun understands his Capricorn Moon needs. All of that balances out the fact that your Sun and Moons are opposite each other, which that in itself causes magnetic attraction, completes one another, & can be quite binding. (it can also cause frustration, or major inherit differences, but because of your smooth flowing Sun-Moon interactions, I think it balances out! Very nice!)
Again, you have to check the degrees of each of your signs. For example, if he is a Pisces Sun of 2 degrees, but you are a Virgo Sun of 25 degrees, they are not opposite (because they are not "within orb"). So be sure to check what kind of aspects these signs are truly making with each other...
And, no, I wouldn't say that with no negative aspects there is no chemistry... trust me, you don't need -4's! And probably don't need -3's either! I'd say a couple of -2's would be just fine to add a bit of sexual tension or excitement in there... anything beyond that is just downright difficult and really isn't compatible.
As far as the Capricorn Moon, well, you can expect it to be just exactly the opposite of how your Mother or family nurtured you! I assume you were comforted, emotionally nurtured, in a caring environment. Very emotional home environment, you probably have strong feelings associated with your upbringing and may be quite attached... nurtured in an emotionally caring way (you were at least allowed to express your emotions freely or were encouraged or supported in expressing your emotions). Capricorn Moon people were expected to grow up and mature at a young age. Possibly their parents worked a lot or could not be there for them, so they had to be mature and be responsible, or serious & practical. No time for feelings or emotions. Had to take care of business. Maybe he had a lot of chores and structure. I'd say, his emotions are restricted, he is more rigid in his expression of them, he prefers to make sure all the responsibilities are taken care of before being able to relax. (I used to have a Pisces Sun/Capricorn Moon boyfriend as well!) They are unconditionally loving (Pisces) but serious and responsible and practical (Capricorn Moon).
