I don't know why none of us astrologers saw this one coming!!
Ran back to date and time of Haiti Quake.  Here are the aspects.
Moon in Scorpio.  The moon is our cosmic timer. It triggers events.  
@ time of Hiti Quake, we have Moon in Scorpio. Ruler of Scorpio is activated.  Pluto being in the earth sign of Capricorn.  BTW Pluto/Hades rules geophysical forces, Vulcanism, Earthquake, tectonics. On it's ohn, not extraordinary BUT!

The Moon in Scorpio is in full trine with the South Node (underworld) and Uranus in pisces.  Uranus is sudden explosive change, Triggered by Moon and tied to underworld.

Pluto and Uranus, both bringers of extreme changes, Uranus in the explosive manner, Pluto in the Destructive manner.  With both Uranus and Pluto activated strongly(Uranium and Plutonium), there is disaster on the scale of nuclear explosions.  

Three oceanic factors are in play  South Node in Cancer (sea floor)  Uranus in Pisces (Sudden change about the seas) and Moon in Scorpio(expressed through the seas)  

Now Uranus, intense sudden change, in Pisces with ruler, Neptune in Aquarius.  

So we have destructve energies of pluto tied to earth, coming from underneath(south node) near the sea, causing intense humanitarian issues.  

Why Haiti?  Aquarius is explressed through that which is new yet old, slavery, rebellion, social changes, ect.  If one looks at the Hatian history, Haiti is all those things.  

Ummm There will be much much much discussion of secret, underground unseen destructive forces in meda next few weeks.   An HUGE Al-Queada scheme has been 'brought to light'.  

Hmmm... Just saw the announcement of Obama sending relief to Haiti.  Makes Sense, Capricorn = Capitalism.  Mkaes sense

I think there will be another 'shakeup' Jan 23rd.  Moon in Taurus activating a sextile with Venus, a square with Sun and trine with plto/mercury conjunction

I understand where you are coming from on this, and I also feel your frustration that someone didn't put all the pieces together to warn people before the earthquake happened. Often times, when someone is aware of what is to be, nothing is said out of fear. It could be that person fears what others will say to their prediction and also a fear of being wrong, possibly a fear of noone listening - basically a case of insecurity. It'd be interesting to know if someone actually did see the earthquake happening well before it did (looking ahead of the present time to see what may be foretold).

IS the "fog of uncertainty"    As I and the wife were discussing, looking into the future is alyeas going to be hazy.  Like travelling in a dense fog, we can see "upstream" into the future only so far with any clarity. Like travelling in a vehicle in a dense fog. we can see that there is "SOmething" coming, showing as a shapeless shadow.. gets more and more clear as we get close r and closer in time, until it whacks into us.  We can then see that it is a "dog", but wont know the details until we stop and get out and examine it closely.
