Perhaps it is the stoic nature of my Virgo sun.  Whether I have chosen my current self as a lesson to be learned from a previous existance, or whether my current self is purely semi-random chance, this is what I have to work with.  Such is my lot in life. It's not alot, but it's my life.

 Your Cappy sun, Pisces moon does have positive traits.  Your Moon in Pisces gives you a strong empathic ability. The ability to feel what others feel, emotionally.  This makes it had for you to be firm when you should.  You feel that if you take a stand on how things are, you will hurt the other person's feelings. Make them feel bad. Then you end up with an emotional feedback loop due to your strong empathic talent. Making the other person feel bad, makes you feel bad.  

 I would advise that you take this particular astrological lemon and make lemonade.  I think that  you need to find an occupation, paid or voluntary, that specializes in making other people feel good about themselves. that makes them happy, then the empathitic returns will be good and not bad.  

 Your Cappy sun while not expressing so much in  making personal monetary gain, may be best expressed in helping others with out in a business , financial way.

No, I feel like everybody has the sign placements they do, for a reason, that it was meant to be that way.

Well, I think every sign has it's pro's and con's. Equally, really. They're just different.
I'm an Aries Sun, and I do love it, but let me tell you, it's not always what it's cracked up to be. It sucks because I always want to prove myself "right"! I carry things on, get overly dramatic & aggressive in debates, etc. (maybe my Mars in Gemini too?)
But nonetheless, I like the idea of being a Capricorn because it means you are very responsible, smart, and to-the-point! (I'm also a Taurus ascendant so I like earth signs)
Capricorn is also my Midheaven, so I can relate to the qualities. Don't worry, being an Aries Sun, I can tell you Capricorn is equally awesome (they're both cardinal, for example). The only difference is that instead of being impulsive, competitive, and aggressive, you are practical (much better, right?), responsible (clearly much better! Lol!), and serious (hey, life's no joke- serious people win). So really, my impulsive, competitive, aggressive Aries Sun has gotten me into a lot of trouble.
About the Pisces moon, I can understand, because I have Venus in Pisces (so I get wayyy too dreamy sometimes- and get emotional and sensitive). But also, I have a Sagittarius Moon, which has it's good qualities of course (in all reality, I do love it) but I've heard that having a mutable quality Moon means the emotions are scattered. And I do feel that way. My emotions are all over the place, and I can be obsessed with truth-seeking, & can be self-righteous (yuck, my Venus in Pisces doesn't like that!). So, I've kind of envied my Taurus Moon boyfriend, he seems so practical and sensible. They don't get so overly emotional like I do. I really have grown to love the earth signs. There is nothing wrong with serious and practical! In fact, it just makes more sense! So, I can feel for you with your complaints, but believe me, every sign has it's pro's and con's, and I seriously believe they're equal.
For example, I used to want to be a Leo, but now I am starting to realize that they are way too concerned about they're presentation, it seems like I just want to say "okay, stop trying to put on a show! just be real!"
So, with your placements, I'd say LOVE the Pisces Moon because, hey, Pisces understands everything, right? The last sign of the zodiac, you're intuitive and probably a bit psychic. Awesome. And artistic. Perfect.
And the Capricorn Sun, hey, you're never going to get screwed in life, I mean money-wise and stuff. I'm sure you're very responsible & I bet someday you'll be sitting on some sort of an empire you've created for yourself. Cappy's are great because they never quit. You'll get to where you want to be someday, and I think that's a quality everybody wishes they had.
