Anyone have any ideas of how autism would maybe show up in an astrological chart. MY son has autism and I have a chart for him but don't know what to look for. I would love to learn more about reading charts!

Autism is often related to local factors in a chart as in the signature
in the chart would be of relevance for a particular time period and
sometimes location.

I can look at your sons chart but what would be useful is to get
your chart , the fathers chart and any other siblings from either
parent.

Please use a format similar to Month, day year, town/city/country
and time of birth.

Medical astrology is a very specialised field/branch of astrology. Other branches are horary, mundane, electional, natal charts, karmic astrology.

I personally cannot see how this can be diagnosed in a natal chart, besides which you didn't even post the chart, so how are people supposed to comment?

I was looking up information on 8th house placements, and I found this article http://www.ofspirit.com/carmenturnerschott1.htm

I see autism as people who can perceive things that others can't or in a way that others don't which can cause difficulty in relating with others and thus make it hard to function fully. The article I read was talking about having planets in the 8th house correlating with being sensitive and able to sense things and read people.

I have more planets in the 8th house then any other, and when I was younger I was diagnosed with aspergers(a mild form of autism).

It would help to see a chart and be able to  look for connections.

Again if autism is diagnosable in a natal chart, which is highly contraverseable, it will be seen in 6th house of 'health' and not 8th house of death and transformation, sex, joint & shared resources.

Maybe even planets in 1st house making quincunx aspect to 6th house planets
