ALL natal charts are a 'signature' related to time and place and date of birth and cannot 100% say whether a person is King, pauper, prince, prostitute or whether someone is mentally insance, psychopath etc...

Hi ... With afflictions of the format of Autism it is doubtful if
a diagnoisis can be made.  Although some good success has
been achieved with looking at a chart ( very carefully ) to
detect alcoholism and also drug addiction ( less successful
than alcoholism ) - mostly it is related to the "probablity"
that a particular individuals chart may have a weakness
that will develop if exposed to alcoshol/drugs/

But for example, I have had clients who do enjoy alcohol
but had jaundice ( liver affliction ) at an early age and cannot
drink alcohol ( induces stomach problems, headaches
and dizziness leading to collapse/sleep ).  Even though there
was a particular enjoyment of alcohol the lack of bodily
strength to absorb never allowed the disease to establish
itself.  Just looking at the chart without direct personal
medical diagnosis of the patients history would have predicted
the disease but obviously it was not there. A predisposition
but no precipitation or prolongation of the disease due to
- in this case - weakness in the liver.

Issues such as Autism can be assisted by natural or
artificial identification of symptoms - then relating these symptoms
to the chart. For example, if communication is a problem
( communication being one of  three common - communication,
extremes of behaviour [silence, flapping hands, banging head etc ]
and social interactions ) then we would note the times that
the issues where pronounced and analyze which combination
of planets would generally produce this.  

If communication was the issue we would expect natural ruler of
communication mercury to be involved but for any particular
individual it may or may not be. Each person needs a careful diary
of the symptoms kept over at least 3 months and preferably a
year or much more.

Combinations of planets like this assist in many ways  - for example,
the production of speculative luck used in skill games like one arm bandits
and similar. In one client best times are always transiting Moon square
Saturn or Jupiter ( Saturn ruled the 2nd house and Jupiter was in the
second house ). If transiting Moon hit any square with progressed or
tertiary Saturn or Jupiter that would enhance the effect .

If this kind of signature can be discovered for a particular person
then we can easily identify times when additional medical and social
resources can be applied for maximum benefit. In addition, where
holidays can be applied ... avoiding certain positions say go to New York
for pleasure, avoid Chicago or relax in Seattle... can be worked out.

Although I use Western Traditional Astrology almost entirely - the
benefic effect of correct gems, talismans and various other Jyotish
remedies are well established to remedy identified weaknesses
due to Dasa's etc.,

I agree that one cannot say directly that anyone is a King, pauper
prince etc., but what one can do is identify weaknesses and strength
( for example in a pauper - lack of 7th house [ interactions with others ]
and 4th house [ lack of foundations ] and possibly afflictions in 10th
[ possible reputation issues ]. By identifying at least the issues that
constitute strength and weakness for an individual we can create
what that individual is searching for by additional education,
selecting correct companies etc to work for and the usual gamut of
applying appropriate astrological remedies correctly at certain times.

There are many research groups though that are attempting
career based indentification via the natal chart. Defined careers
like teaching, military, sports, hotel management and similar long
established and well defined activities exhibit success.

Its unlikely that diagnosis can be achieved for issues like autism but
it is possible for some people to identify certain symptoms with their
planetary synchronizations and then gain the resources to reduce
problems in that area - reducing overall stress.

A good example, is migraine where one can identify when some of the
migraines are to start .. if one can apply medication prior to the onset
the overall migraine is significantly reduced and avoid scheduling  that
will create triggers for the migraine. Not everyone responds to
this approach but where it does apply it can maximize relief to relieve
suffering  allow a better socialization and family life.

The only problem with this approach really is that it can only provide
some relief and it takes a long time to identify and then find appropriate
corrections. Long term malidies like migraine  etc., respond well as
the disease lasts usually many decades. Even 10% relief is significant
especially if the client knows they can depend on that relief and get
the remainder from normal medical resources.

Why dont we take some practical examples to see what makes autism operational.

Here we have to consider that everyone is autistic to some extent, as Autism is actually Perception problems, and we all face perception problems +-.
It is only when this perception problems are large enough to affect normal life and functioning that the 'disease' or malady starts.

Autism is where the 'way we think' is suffers aberration.

That said, which planet/planets would affect autism?

Hi RishiRahul, I ran an autism enquiry against astrodabank and got 5 charts
(Bacharach, Lea Flutie,Douglas Savage,Mathew Basinger,Kim and Edwards,Anthony )
and took their their natal info.

What immediately pops up is a fast Pluto, indicator of obsession and Neptune is not
on the angles. In addition, Pluto seems to figure on the angles in four of the charts:-

Bacharach,Lea Pluto on Descendant
Flutie,Douglas Pluto on Ascendant
Savage,Matthew Pluto on Ascendant
Basinger,Kim Pluto on the MC

Edwards,Anthony Pluto is in 2nd house so is the exception to this....

I get the idea that Neptune - confusion - not being on the angles is part
of the issue perhaps as there is some kind of imaginative confusion unexpressed ?
help me out here folks :)

Only 5 charts though so tough to make any conclusions....
we need at least 20 and 50 would be good :)

Can anyone else get some more natal charts for autism ?

You mentioned about Pluto being there.... stands for disintegration type stuff, are supportive (angles are supportive to each other)

What does the mercury say also in terms of Pluto in these charts ?
