Think of your natal chart as a photograph, a still, a point in time and as unique as a fingerprint to you with your birth data, time, place and date.
Transits are where those 10planets are now in the sky above you, making mathamatical aspects to your 10planets in your natal chart. Remember from your school days, and opposition is 180', a square 90', a sextile 60' and trine 120' well all the calcuations are done on computers these days, so makes life much easier.
Transits are just one predictive technique for forecasting the future hon.... quite simply really
