On another thread, I mentioned briefly that astrology could be used to win at gambling.  There was a small interest in this, so I hoped to talk about it again now.

Whenever some event is needed to go well, it can be accomplished by certain astrological methods.  This can include winning at gambling.  These are not for the beginner astrologer, since some understanding of astrology must exist before attempting, although experimentation is invited to learn and observe these effects.

First, a natal chart must be made for the individual.  An exact birth time must be known.  If an exact, preferably to the second, birth time is not known, then reconstructing the birth time must be done prior to attempting this method.  This method, however, can be used to reconstruct an exact birth time by the desired effects happening at the expected moment.

Then, a date must be chosen for the event or activity.  I will use "gambling" as the event since this is a likely application of this astrological usage.  When choosing a date to gamble, all aspects for the date must be scrutinized by all transiting planets.

When I use "planets" here, I am referring to any astrological body that produces an effect.  This includes the moon's nodes, all minor planets, all outer planets, asteroids, and midpoints.  Take care that I have included midpoints as a body that produces an effect!

Planets and the houses that are significators of the event must be located in the natal chart and all aspects from transiting planets noted.  The event or activity will determine the planets, houses, and signs involved.

When looking at the natal chart, there must be some promise of a beneficial outcome before astrology can be used.  For example, someone with a saturn in the 5th house is not likely to ever be greatly successful in gambling.  (Again, this method can be used for other activities, not just gamblling, so the appropriate planets and houses must first be analyzed.)  When some transiting planets make aspects to otherwise adverse planets in the natal chart, they can overcome the natal promise.  But, the transiting planets must be strong enough in aspect.  In the above example, with saturn in the 5th house, a strong placement of transiting Jupiter and venus in Taurus can be enough to overcome the debilitating effects of saturn.

When choosing a date for the activity, it is imperative that a slower moving planet be making an approaching aspect to a significator on the date chosen.  This should be transiting Jupiter making an aspect to natal Jupiter, sun, or venus, for example.  If the slower moving planet is retrograde, it is not the right time and another date should be chosen.  If the significator planet is stationary, it is not the right date.  If the significator planet has already approached and is now departing, another date must be chosen.

If you do not have software that can be programmed to calculate all necessary planets and astrological bodies and influences, then you must be able to do this by hand and know how to do the math involved.  Also be careful of your kind of computer processor.  Some do a "floating point" type of calculations that can cause the entire project to fail, because you must know when exact aspects are occurring within 10 seconds of exact.  Using an ephemeris is also helpful as well as making sure that all calculations and declinations are compensated for daylight savings time, and your particular latitude and longitude...the more exact the better.

Unlike many types of predictive astrology, squares and oppositions are not to be avoided, but seen as increasing the energy of the planets involved.  Any square or oppositions to Jupiter, planets occupying the 5th house or 6th house (the 6th being money received from gambling) should be making a transit on the date chosen.

Conjunctions and trines are also beneficial.  Semi-sextiles are also beneficial.

Semi-squares and 150-degree aspects are to be avoided.  A 150-degree aspect always denotes that the wrong choice will be made.  If a significator, or any other strong planet or well-placed "planet" involves a 150-degree aspect, the date is not to be chosen.  A 150-degree will have the effect of always doing the wrong thing.  In gambling, for example, if the person was playing 21, the person would always choose to hold when they should have "hit" and "hit" when they should've held.  There is nothing that I have ever found to overcome a 150-degree aspect.  If it is in the chart, or making aspect to any planet, including midpoints, you will not win.  

Take care to look at all approaching aspects.  Any transit within 10 degrees that is detrimental can cause the individual not to win.  This is particularly true if transmutations of light, or planets with parallel aspects so that the energy or a planet too far to have an effect on the date chosen could still dampen winnings because its energy is being amplified or exchanged by another planet.

Next, calculations for all approaching "planets" are made in aspect.  This includes midpoints, and all energy producing astrological bodies.

You must have a watch that is set to GMT with a second hand.  Take care to note when setting your watch that several seconds can elapse from the moment that an actual time is given through the internet, telephone, or any other way to determine exact GMT because of a delay in bouncing the signals off from satellites or by speech moving through the telephone if very far away from London.  When I say this, I mean that your watch must be set so that it corresponds exactly, to the second, with GMT.

Now you are set up and ready to begin.

Everything that you do must be done under an approaching aspect.  The closer to the exact moment of the aspect that you can be, the better.  It is better to allow yourself 10-15 seconds before the exact aspect than to be 2 seconds past the aspect.

It is important now that everything you do, you do it under an exact transit using those guidelines given above.  Keep your paper with transiting aspects with you.  You will refer to it at all times, coordinating it with your watch that is set exactly to GMT.

You must leave your house under an exact beneficial aspect.

you must get into your car under an exact beneficial aspect.  (yes, you may have to wait several minutes, or an hour, or more, for this to happen, but it is crucial to the success!)

If you are flying, you must enter the airport under an exact beneficial aspect...then get on the plane under another exact beneficial aspect.

you must enter the gambling establishment under an exact beneficial aspect.

You must check into your room under an exact beneficial aspect.

You must leave your room to go to the gambling machines under an exact beneficial aspect.

You must throw the dice, have the cards dealt, or pull the handle on the one-armed bandit, under an exact beneficial aspect.

If you have succeeded in coordinating all actions on your part to an exact or nearly exact aspect, the worse you should have is a neutral result.  That means that you will not lose any money, but will not gain any money either.  If this happens, then there is some aspect or approaching aspect that is dampening the winnings.  Go back and see if you can find it, and with your improved information, try again another day.

Depending on the slower moving planet's aspects to the natal planets will determine the amount of the win.  A transiting Jupiter squared any planet in the natal 5th house, for example, and no 150-degree or semi-squres aspects approaching (including midpoints and asteroids) should result in a good-sized winning.

this sounds cool, and it make sance, but, what if we are not given by our chart any chance of earning or getting money. is there any way we can trick destiny, for those who have realy bad second house 6th and 10th, and than 5th and no good signs for money at all for exemple if we pick up homeless person whose destiny is to live and die on street with no money at all can we do calculations and make that person to folow directions and make his life diferent than it should be.

The natal chart only shows our potential.  That is potential of good and bad.  It shows us what comes easy for us and what comes hard for us.  It does not say how we will use these things (except by progressions).  It does not say that you are fated, beyond any human choice, that we must live out a certain life (destiny).  So, of course, things can be changed.  The trick is to do it under auspicious times.

Also, I am very hesitant to say someone's chart gives no or only bad potential for this or that, without seeing the chart.  It is a very rare chart (I've never seen one yet) that doesn't give some potential for something (maybe not gambling, but potential for something else).  I really have trouble imagining a chart with 2/5/6/10 all bad houses, from your example.  Sometimes the potential is from the opposing sign, sometimes an asteroid, sometimes a stellum or strong planet placement perhaps by exaltation, sometimes a configuration such a T-squares or grand-trines, sometimes a midpoint, sometimes by using the talents given elsewhere in the chart, etc.  Beneficial placements are also found by "stepping" in astrology and looking at the stepped house, sign, and aspects.  It is a caution, and I believe an error, to say that there is NO potential anywhere, and so the person was fated/destined to be homeless, per your example.

It is also necessary, I believe, to see the higher and lower expressions of an energy.  Neptune is a good example.  A strong Neptune can mean that the person is a druggie, alcoholic, avoids reality, likely to be institutionalized, and lives in a fantasy world.  OR, it can mean a very spiritual person, someone who has chosen as their life work to help others by being a doctor, nurse, or working in a similar profession.  Or perhaps a Libra who is always argumentative and an open enemy to everyone he/she meets, or the Libra who is a peacemaker.  The imbalance or misuse of these energies isn't told in the chart...only through the life.

I do agree about potencial, we all have some kind of it, but,,, I belive in destiny as way of low resistance that we all
follow since it is easier than changing it, but also subconcsciously we feel it's right and we just follow it. So as we read
a chart we need to consider all elements of it and ofcourse caracter wich is the most important factor in making decisions
in our life and according to this noone will make change, big life change unless there is someone to iniciate and suport,
and even than it should be visuable in the chart,,, in the same exsemle if this homeless persone have really great potencial
of getting some money on loterry or gambling, big money and lets say you know that, so you pass by and hand him some
change and tell him quitly 'hey you should go get lottery ticket I feel this is your lucky day', he would say thank you brother  i will and went to get some food and alcohol instead....or....if that person is inteligent and you try to explane how there is
chance of getting some money and you would give some more if it turns not truth, so he or she decide to do it, and wins jack pot, whats gonna hapen with money I wounder cause if chart doesn't show life of reach person than he can not be rich.....
and will not be rich, he will lose ticket or got beat up and this one with better chart will take ticket and pick up the money
following his own destiny, but in both cases it should be visuable.
I might be wrong or I just belive in destiny more than I should, but i think that both potencial and the way you use your
potencial work together and if not than we have missed chances and opportunities or unused potencial, it's just not meant
to be and separating aspects shows things that probably will be about to happen, but will never happen from some reason
that in that moment of decision will look better for us and make us change our mind. Afterall we came on this world with path
we have chosen by ourself and maybe we should follow it untill we learn our lesson, but ususlly we get lost and forget about it wishing we have better life we blame god or who ever for that.
I think libra can be peacemaker and enemy at the same time, just diferent situations, if venus is in sagitarius than libra will show her anger about injustice besides higher need for peace in the world. maybe moon in libra can give those two oposite
caracteristics too and than libra will be nice and polite as long as the others are, but will change into fighter as well, if it's needed. if you add some squares to the story it may be fun. and so on... it dependes on chart
I would try to gambel if there is potencial, but only with good calculations cause don't like to lose money:)

we do have choice in everything or at least it looks like we do, cause we like to belive we have power over our life and
we like to take credit for good decisions we made. one who doesen't belive in destiny would say, 'well I made decision,
what the hack that have to do with destiny, it didn't fall of the sky in my hands i did it', or what ever... but we still can see
what decision one will make, mostly not always. artistic person will follow instict or wish or desiere and will try to make
art carier and will not be a doctor unless there are other signs or influences in the chart stronger than artistic ones
