I'm a scorpio sun sign and i am very interested in this aquarius man but i always read that we'd make a horrible match. Why is that? we get along great.

According to all the predictions out there, I shouldn't get along with myself since my sun and ascendant don't "match" well.

If you want to get a good reading, please ask for a compatibiity chart. This will take all the elements of both of your charts, and come up with an analysis of the relationship that's based on the actual relationship, and not just looking at the sun signs. If you decide to do that, post it in the astro reading forums (either western or vedic) and you'd need the birth info for both people.
