other than cancer in jupiter i dont have it anywhere else in my birthchart. My passion/mars sign is in pisces and my love/venus is in aries if that makes a difference.

Heh, you have Luna and Jupiter in Cancer and you're wondering why you seem more Cancerian than Geminian? :D
First off, as I mentioned, Luna is dignified in Cancer, now I know that you have Jupiter in Cancer, who is exalted here. What you have are two very powerful planets contained in one Sign they enjoy very, very much.
