The problem is astrology is an earthocentric belief i.e. the earth is at the centre of everything.
Whilst it might be the centre for us it certainly isn't for everything else in the universe.
We are a miniscule planet, going round an insignificant sun on the end edge of uninteresting galaxy, I'd better get of the soapbox now and let someone else have a go.

Yes, it's called 'geocentric'.  

Since we live on the Earth, the way things look to us is of utmost importance.  There is a branch of astrology that's called heliocentric astrology, but since we don't live on the Sun, I don't see the importance.

Perhaps in the huge scope of things, but to us it's the most important because it's all we have and all we're ever going to have.
