hey senshi i found this little article about sun in first house

i was wondering if you can read this and tell me where i would stand on this little article? i dont know a clue about how many degrees my ascendant is from my sun and stuff and i was wondering if you could maybe tell me where i am according to this paragraph. no matter how stupid you think this is please interpret it for me as it's important to me

Can you subtract 13 from 14?

If so, you'll know how many degrees your Sol is fron your Ascendant.

What the paragraph is saying is if your Sol is within 12° of the Ascendant either way, it's conjunct to the Ascendant (though I'd have said 5). If Sol is within the Twelfth house, yet within 5° of the Ascendant its on the "dark side" of the First, which the paragraph says will have Sol express itself in both the First and Twelfth house. If Sol is within 3° of the Ascendant, it will primarily express itself in the First.

Yours is less than a degree, so it's going to be within that First House.
