I feel like I'm repeating myself here.

Technically, yes. Sol is in the Twelfth house since he is not past the degree of the Ascendant. However, he is so close that he is considered ON the Ascendant and is thus listed to be a part of the First, which is why you're given interpretations of him inside of that house.

I want you to repeat 'My Sol is in my First house' about fifty times.

if i'm in neither 1st house or 12th house and the sun is on the cusp how can this be interpretted?

Oops, yeah, I can see how that's confusing. Let me wrap this up for you.

Your Sol is not past the Ascendant, so he is seen as in the Twelfth house. However, he is so close to the Ascendant that he has become a part of the First house. I'm sorry if I threw you off there. It doesn't matter what house a planet is in, if it is on the cusp of a house, it is a part of that house. Sol is on the First house cusp, so he is a part of your First house, regardless of his physical placement in being just a bit before.

You're mid Leo rising. 14°. I'm not sure what you meany by 'very start of the first house compared to the end of the first house'. Is this reference to my Sol, Mercury, Saturn example?

bleh i just editted my comment a bit but what i meant was you said my sun conjunct ascendant was basically at the very start of the first house cusp so i was wondering if that has any affect compared to somebody with sun conjunct ascendant near the end of house 1. thanks for clearing it up for me by the way

They aren't going to have Sol on the Ascendant if he is near the end of the First house...
