Poor Pluto, the sad little rock that couldn't. At least he can still be Mickey's friend.

No,it will have no effect on astrology.Pluto was discovered in 1930's and before that Neptune in 1800's and Uranus in 1780's but horoscopes and astrology existed long before that, only it dind't include the effects of those planets. Now we know of more than 8 planets. We know of many asteroids and over 10 dwarf plantes so they are all included in horoscopes, however their influence is not so strong to be compulsorily when making the horoscope.

Sol and Luna aren't planets either, really.  One's a star and the other is a satellite, but we love them anyway.  Astronomical labels mean nothing to astrology, and astrologers are often very defiant over such labels and reclassifications (such as astrologers' continuous usage of Pluto).  Astrologers don't even consider Earth to be a planet, at least, not in the same way.  When I personally say 'planets' I'm referring to Sol, Luna, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Ceres, Juno, Vesta, and Pallas.  Even though one is a star, another a moon, two are 'dwarf planets' (lame name by the way) and the final three are asteriods.
