I do not know hence the question. I think hubby is on the cusp of Gemini his birthday is 24 June so maybe that has something to do with it.

i think you should'nt let your judgement be clouded from astrology, if you dont think about it we're all human beings we care for eachother so don't let zodiac signs set your limits with who you interact with and run your lives.

Oftentimes you will find such couples. I know one couple who is in the same boat as you, Gemini and Cancer, they get along great. I attribute this to the Venus positions. The Gemini's Venus is in Cancer, and the Cancer's Venus is in Gemini. Strange right? But, besides that, they have great Synastry.

Never let a single aspect of astrology - in this case, the Sol Signs - determine it all for you.

Sei no Senshi that is pretty much along my lines of thinking. Not knowing much about astrology and the ruling planets. I assumed that because Hubby is born so close to the Gemini that there would be some variation to the norm. I do try to think outside of the square so to speak.
