I am brand new to this board, and honestly admit I know very little.
I was born on June 21st @ 4:22pm CST - different charts list me as either Cancer or Gemini.  I read another post about being born on the cusp, but I don't completely understand - is there a way to know "for sure" which sign I am?  I have also been told that the cusp I was born on has other significance - is this true?

I too am born on a cusp. Some say I am a Capricorn,some say Aquarius. It all depends on the time you were born.If I would have been born 13 hours later on the same day, I would be an Aquarius. Any astrology book or website that can draw up your chart will tell you which sign the sun was in at your time of birth. I read both signs when it comes to myself because I am a mixture of the two. Especially the older I get. Hope this helps.

I just checked with the data you gave and the chart shows you have a Gemini Sun (personality).  Is there "daylight savings time" when you were born here?  It will make a slight difference in the rest of your planets and points.

If there is no daylight savings time, your Moon (emotions) is in Gemini and your Ascendant (appearance) is in Cancer.   These (Sun, Moon, Ascendant) are the 3 legs of your identity and are very personal points.  This might have added to your confusion, trying to "decide" whether Cancer fits or Gemini fits.
