As a confirmed and practising Christian who is interested in divination and how it can be incorporated into worship and orthodox spirituality to come closer to understanding the nature of God and the role of Jesus, anything which works in a mysterious way, if used for the right ends and to make sound decisions in accordance with the wellbeing of all - "an it harm none" - is a gift of God. Using it for nefarious purposes to control, cheat or oppress others, or to advance one's own greed at the expense of others, is wrong. Like a knife that can cut bread for the hungry or kill an innocent, it is a mere tool. Furthermore spirituality is an exchange of ideas between cultures, not upholding one system of belief to be superior to another.

I know you are transcribing someone else's article, but whoever wrote it is talking nonsense in order to suppress and control others and leave them dependent on leaders of a particular community. Spirit has long fought against anything like this, be it caste systems or fundamentalism. If God had intended astrology to be regarded as an evil idea, then He wouldn't have made it work so well!
