Respected Sir,

Today I am writing this message to get a clarification for my doubt regarding Jupiter in my horoscope. Please provide your valuable views regarding that.I have Jupiter with Rahu in the 8th house.I have read many articles regarding this combination. I read that Rahu slowly reduces the power of Jupiter and Jupiter wont be able to play its benefic role even in its mahadasha. On the contrary I also read that Rahu doubles the power of the planet with which it is placed.A native after having a bad rahu mahadasha gains the lost fame and name in the following Jupiter Mahadasha. Many years ago whenmy horoscope was examined by an astrologer he said that my Jupiter Mahadasha wont be in any way good for me.
But I find my experiences contrary. My Jupiter Mahadasha started in May 2008.I passed my 10th standard in March 2003 with 88%. I passed my 12th with 78% in March 2005. The reduction in the percentage was the result of my brain going blank and not able to grasp what was being taught.I never failed in any subject till March 2005.Luckily I got admission in the First year of Computer Science and Engineering in May 2005.In May 2006 when the results were out I failed and had to be at home for one year. That time my percentage was 50%. Then from May 2007 I entered Second Year of Engineering. I had to re-appear for my failed exams and semester exams were there in May 2008. Everyone was saying that I was going to fail for one more year and the conditions were tending towards that. But I was waiting for a stroke of luck from Jupiter Mahadasha. Finally I was right and others were wrong and all were shocked. There were physical problems during that like swelling of the eyelid of the right eye causing vision by just the left eye etc.I entered 3rd year of Engineering with 53% .Now as Jupiter Mahadasha started I was confident that I wont fail again. I cleared my 3rd year with 58%. Then something really shocking and unexpected happened . I scored 71% in my last year firstsemester .The whole class was shocked. I finally completed by degree with 70% in June 2010. Everyone was praising me for my achievement. It was the time where my entire efforts bore fruits. In the previous years none of my efforts bore fruits. Also in february 2011 I appeared for an International Certification and passed it with 95%. This is an out of the world achievement which many dont get.
Also before Jupiter Mahadasha my relation with my parents especially with my father wasnt good.We both quarelled and our financial condition was very dull. Now we dont quarrel and our financial condition has improved. Also with the advent of Jupiter Mahadasha cows and dogs started coming to our home and we feed them. Everthing changed .But the relation with the members of my mothers family is keeping on getting strained because they are the reason for the bad days my family saw for many years.
When I was in my engineering years I got to know about my weak points. So I was in search of a career stream that wont be containing the weak points. Also my teachers advised me not to opt for a career stream that contained the weak points. After a month of intensive search I finally got the career stream that I would fit in. But the problem in this stream is that the job oppurtunities for freshers are very less. But I got three chances. But due to obstacles I could get the job.I know I have a good scope in the career stream I opted for.I have completed my above mentioned International Certification in this career stream.
Now here comes a doubt. With a sudden change in my life ( the achievments in studies and happy family life) how can Jupiter Mahadasha not provide its fruits. Also sometimes I feel that after putting much efforts and struggling I achieve things. This is not always. Please suggest any remedy if needed.Sorry for wrting such a long message.

DOB : 18/02/1987

Please provide me your views on the above doubts.Waiting for your reply,

                                                                                           Thanks

Dear Sanjay,

The main reason why Your astrologer friend told, that Ur Guru Maha dasa wont be very  good for U is , Your Guru is seen in  his own Meena rasi  along with Rahu. But Rahu LOOSES his  POWER WHEN PLACED UNDER GURU.U must read Lord Dhakshinamoorthy slokas daily and do worship lord on Thursdays always . He is your Ashtamdhipathi as well as  your Poorva punyadhi pathi.too.  5th and 8th lord. 8th lord is swatchethra , so he will bless u with high  life span . For Simha lagna people I have seen Guru granting  more comforts after 8 years of his dasa . Second half of your guru dasa will make u high in society and will bless U with more wealth and prosperity too . Ashtamadhipathi dasa period will make u struggle always ..is the general rule .  There will be ups and downs  equally always. for u .

U have Akanda Samyarajya Yog. as your Mars is in his own place who is your 9th lord and u are blessed having Guru as  your 5 th  lord too . So have faith and confidence surely U will see high status in society  soon. U r very young now. At present your natal guru and transit guru are placed in same place with natal rahu. Let Guru transit into Aries u will see more relief. More over why U get struggles is , due to the placement of 4th house Shani . 4 th house is seen for mothe'rs side. Shani your 6th lord s placed in 4th house so U are telling your mother side gave troubles more to U . 4th lord Mars is your 9th lord too and he is strong in your chart being in his won house Mesha so , u are blessed and  achieved that certification what U r referring now. 4th lord is strong means U must be good in education. Mars is receiving aspect of Chandra  (sama sapthama )w ho is your 12 th lord so U are having that doubt in your mind why u are receiving difficulties in job front too, is,   because it is corrupting your Bhagya . This is the main reason too why your mother side has given u troubles . Chandra denotes mother and mother side . It is your 12 th lord means it must  denote losses  rite? Your family might have suffered thru communication problems ( from ur mother side) as 12 th lord is siting in 3 rd house.

Now your current dasa is Guru/Shani till 21-01-2013 , it is dasa of your 8th cum 6th lord's. The next dasa of of Guru., ie Budh Ad  will bless u  with more good things in life. He is your second and 10th lord. Abroad chances are Bright after Budha dasa,(Ad) in the year 2015,. under ketu sub period  .Now u are under Sade sati shani , so daily do chant Hanuman Chalisa  .Natal shani is aspected by virgo shani now . Visit Shani Singanapur once as u r in Maharastra. .  So do worship Hanuman always. This Sade sati is your second round of Shani which is auspicuous to U  We call it as Pongu shani in Tamil. .U have seen life changing good,  because i tis  the blessing of second round Shani .Transit Shani an d transit gur u aspecting Sama sapthama  was the blseeing U achived many good things in life in the past year.   Second round shani in life ,  must surely bring U prosperity . In one word I wll say the complete Guru dasa cant be troublesome for U ., Because he is not only your 8th lord , Heis your 5th lord too . So he must belss u with more good things in life as He  has blessed my own Hubby who is  also  belonging  to same Simha Lagna of Urs. it is my own experience , so I shared it with U here. . All the very best. I trust i have cleared most of your doubts.

Warm wishes,
Thanks a lot

Respected Madam,
Thanks a lot for replying. Yes indeed your reply cleared almost all the doubts I have had in my mind. I am in Maharashtra now. Here people worship Lord Dattatreya as they consider Him as Lord Jupiter and there is a lot of crowd on Thurdays in His temple. Lord Dattatreya is Guru of all Gurus considered as Incarnation of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma . Narsimhawadi in Maharashtra is famous as the temple of Lord Dattatreya. I do worship Him. As I havent been to Kerala from many of the years now I am not familiar with Lord Dakshinamoorthy. But I do know that we have His temple near our home in Kerala. Can you please suggest upayas related to Lord Dattatreya so that I can do it. If possible can u please send me Lord Dhakshinamoorthy sloka as I might land up getting the wrong sloka. Please tell me how many times to recite the sloka. Is there any problem reciting it after reciting any other mantra or shloka ?
I do recite Hanuman Chalisa daily. It has been more than two years now. I will surely visit Shani Shinganapur as I always wanted to. But I can visit only after some years.
I have made up my mind. Though struggles come in my life I wont quit.I will focus on my goal.

Thanks a lot again and wishing you all the goodies in life.

                                                                      Yours sincerely
prasanna

He transcends the pair of opposites (such as happiness and sorrow, gain and loss). He is more Omnipresent than space itself. He is the very embodiment of the Divine principle, which is the inner meaning of the four great pronouncements Prajnaanam Brahma, Aham Brahmasmi, Thath Thvam Asi and Ayam Aathma Brahma. He is One without a second (ekam). He never changes under any circumstances (nithyam). He is without any type of impurity (vimalam). He is steady and motionless(achalam). Hi Sanjay,

We have already posted Guru cum Dakshina moorthy Mantras  in our Board. I agree  with U , worshiping Lord Datthreya is similar to Lord Dakshinamoorthy. . Kindly go thru the fowling  link of us. See other  link too . U can very well download sloakas  from these given U tube  links and can hear daily too and especially on Thursdays. Shirdi Sai is also can be worshiped as Guru., as I do ever.  Visiting shirdi truly brings peace and prosperity .
