Namaste,

With my Guru dasha about to start in a few months, I find myself approaching a cross-road in my career, and I know I will be forced to make a major decision soon.

My heart and intuition are pushing me in a direction which seems risky to continue as I have not experienced much success in that area, but I still believe in it, and have been pursuing it for many years, and I am talented in this area.

My mind and logic, is pushing me to an alternate path, which is secure and sensible from a practical standpoint, and one I have been ignoring so far. But the option to walk this path still exists.

How do I decide?

Many thanks for any insight you may provide.

from moon, 10th house is gemini and no planets .. but aspected by venus

You will become good astrologer.. u can take it up as profession ( i dont advise due to curse of lord ganesha and i am follower of free astrology)

you can try lawyer, teacher, automotive parts reatailing

if u dont want to do anything then can serve in NGO..and server needy people

Thank you for your kind response. I dont think becoming a professional astrologer is an option I would consider anyway, and I also doubt I will hang around these discussion boards much longer. I enjoy reading about vedic astrology, but mostly as a personal and non-interactive hobby. But you are right - I do think I would like to be involved in charitable organizations - but as a donor, rather than an NGO worker.

Since you took the time to analyse my query, I felt I should give you more information as feedback:

As with most other people, I am driven by material success, but more for the satisfaction of that success, not its material aspects. (I like the thought of being exceptionally rich, for the intellectual freedom and power of self-expression that come with it, and not for the private jets - although those can be nice too.) As of now I have started and run my own business in a technology-related area, which has had average results. The option is to switch focus to my family business (non-technology) which is presently very successful. I am passionate about what I presently do, but I worry on occassion that I may be allowing my passion to cloud my practical judgement. This is natural, I suppose, due to the average results I have experienced so far. At the same time, I know that perserverance usually bears fruits, so why quit?

It's a difficult choice, and one that affects not just me, so I need to proceed carefully.

Thank you again, and all the best.

u r currently end of Rahu period ( dasha chidra)..You been in technology area (interest ) due to Rahu and been in comunication to lot of foreign elements.

Next period is Jupiter. He is in 7th house pisces ( from virgo moon). Jupiter is AK and in house of partners. Jup is in water sign. He is in 4th from Saggi Asc.

Most of the time peopl feel big change in life when they move from Rahu to jup as both planets are totally different and opposite.

Jup period is good to be in teaching, lawyer., serving people as part of NGO.

whatever be the work u chose, it will be fruitful period in terms of life's fulfilment.

currently jup is debiliated and may cause u to feel low, lonely..but that period is soon going to change once jup moves to aquarius.. wait for time till nov 2009. then make decision..
