I come from a family which is quite strong financially. However, till now, I have never been able to utilize any assets of my family. I dont get to use even the cars. This is mostly due to the lack of empathy from my father related to the problems and stress I face, particularly in my profession. My mother, though she loves me a lot, she is quite neutral to my needs and also has never shown an interest in particular.

Despite many properties, my family has no assets in my name and if I choose to have a love marriage which I want but my parents are against, they will never help me financially.

However, the good news is that I have not done badly in my profession and can sustain myself without their help. I have worked very hard. Though I am proud of having achieved everything on my own, I suffer from a lot of depression and stress, job-related and related to the lack of co-operation from my parents. In the past year, diseases such as excessive weight-gain, piles and urinary infection has become a regular feature.

What I want to know honestly is if this is how the rest of my life will be?

-Will I ever be able to go beyond just sustainance and lead a financially strong life. If so, when will this happen?

-Will I ever be able to get rid of stress and depression and feel actually happy?
