Sir, Thanks very much for letting me know my UL and AL. I did read up on few articles online and i have a fairly good idea of how to calculate these lagnas. I have another question now - When i look at 2nd house from UL and 8th house from UL they are empty ie; not occupied by any planets. How do you interpret in such cases ?

The way you do in case when houses r empty fom lagna. Almost same approach

First make your purpose clear with atleast yourself that are you asking to learn astrology or wanna to know about yourself..
If previous case then it is wrong place to ask and learn.....you CANNOT learn by these broken READINGS..You shud join
astrology classes of the forum or ask in vedic astrology forum..

If later case then you will not get real answer because you r asking again selectively..Ask your concerned question and let the reader decide which appraoch to take..

Thank you and sorry about the confusion Raman sir. I was indeed doing both ie; getting to know more about me and also trying to learn a bit of astrology in the process. I will join the astrology forum to take some classes. Thanks for your help once again sir.
