Yes, SA is transiting 1-point (BAV) in LEO and aspecting SU, need to be careful about BP/heart disease. JU transiting 12th  and SA/JU combination aspecting 4th house (with SA/MA conjunction) is indeed a problematic period for your father and in general happiness. 4th house is 8th of 9th, Karaka SU/4th/JU/SA are all involved. I would say proper medication and prayers are the only solution.
