Hi all

This is my first post here. Before i present my query i would give a small background.

I know very little about vedic astrology though i do think i have good understanding and perceptoin of things in general. A combination of Aqua (Sun, Merc) and Virgo (Moon) gives me a very analytical and practical outlook to most things.

A friend of mine is a lady who is having a very tough time getting her life straight. She has a lot of psycological issues that i help her with on almost a daily basis. I only have an amatuer knowledge of psycology and astrology but i do understand things quickly and much better than most people.

I have a query. Now from my experience in western astroloy i know she has a tough natal chart, but i also believe we do have a certain amount of free will to change/live our lives.

My query is when would be the best time for this girl to get married or worse will she ever get married?

why not ? she will get married.the reason behind the delay is affliction to venus 7thlord as well as kalatrakaraka by saturn.further the mahadasa of rahu is running which has contributed significantly to the delay being in 12th.transit wise also she is having ashtama sani i,e saturn in 8th from moonsign.jupiter is also transiting 12th house now.she can get married anytime after dec 2009,during rahu/moon period.

Thanks fir your reply Mr Balaji. The reason i wondered if she will get married is that she has a big fear of marriage. Its a deep rooted fear that she has as she is from a seprated family. Also her idealistic nature (neptune), independent character (aquarian moon) kind of makes things difficult. But it is surely good news that she has a good chance of getting married as she really desires so.

Let me give you some additional feedback. Rahu/Sun period overlap with Saturn/Jupitor double tansiting aspect to 7th house during entire year 2009 gives an opportunity for stable relationship. Saturn's current transit to Mars in 10th has been painful for health and service. Actually isolated moon suffers due to malefic KEMUNDRAM yoga, but Jupitor's transit to Moon and it's dispositor conjunct 7th lord Venus gives relief to get desired results. All the karakas for marriage Jupitor/Venus/Moon are in play

Actually i agree with you. starting with end of 2008 she has made tremendous progress with her attitude towards life and desire to marry. I can vouch for this as i have seen the transformation first hand. Also with my rudimentary knowledge of western astrology i have been able to find out that 2009 is indeed a gr8 year for her progress towards marriage and general progress in life.

However it is Me who is currently 'with' the above mentioned lady. Hence the question changes to when would be a good time for 'us' to marry.

I ask this because i see little chance of me getting married in 2009
