I must tell you that as per Manusmriti and MahaPuranas there are
8different types of marriage and marriage rites described. One of them is Gandharva Vivaha.
In the case of Gandharva Vivaha or Love marriage in the present times, it is purely the hands
of destiny or Karma which has brought them together. Karma is afterall dynamic and your
actions in current relationship which has an impact on the life together. The Karma which
has brought them together is honoured. It is only in samjika Vivaha that horoscopes are
matched by families of two persons who have never met. In the present times the marriage
of the two persons in love are performed as per vedic rites including Saptapadi, which actually
refers to 7 types of friendship the couples must observe.
Now when couples are in love and enter into such predestined marriage, pure love rather than
Moha or lust must be the basis or foundation for their marriage. Horoscope matching has no
place in real love. I have seen Horoscopes matched before and sometimes after marriage
can create Havoc in their minds as well as their near and dear ones if someone did term
