Dear All,

I would like to seek an expert's opinion and advise (though i have been suggested by one of th learned Astrologer before) on wearing a Gem stone of Mars (Red Coral) as a remedial measure...since choosing the Right and Correct Gem is bit tricky and need careful and minute study of the chart. So seeking some more insights from experienced astrologers out here without being an offending and with due respect to the Astrologer who had suggested me to wear Coral and Ruby.

Following is my understanding and with some inputs/advises from learned Astrologer(s)

Mars being my LL and the Lagna Lord is always considered benafic even here Mars owns the 8H still he is considered as Benafic as per many scholars and our Astro Sciptures...

My LL Mars goes to 9H But hemmed btwn Natural Malific RAHU and SUN Hence it is in Paapakartari Yoga. It is generally believed that, Any house that is hemmed in between by malefics represents an "area of restriction"

So here Mars also being a Natural Malific and in Paapakartari Yoga is it advisible to wear Red Coral?

Note: My 9H is directly aspected by SaturnR who is sitting in my 3H

And secondly, i am looking at 5H remedy my 5HL is SUN and is afflicted due to Amavasya Moon and Retro Mercury joining him in my 10H

some astrologers are of the opinion that, we have to see even Streangths and placements of any other Planets from AL (Arudha Lagna) (especially in 3H and 6H from AL) also before priscribing any Gem(s) . In my Chart my AL is in 5H. AL Lord Sun is in 6H from Arudha Lagna but afflicated as mentioned before..

So still can i Wear RUBY?

Now if both Red Coral and Ruby can be worn, then Which finger and hand should i wear?

Actually not tricky but more like EXPENSIVE! For the nativity!!

Hence it was prescribed for Kings and the rich in *times* when astrology was supported by Royal Grants (parampara of raj jyotishis etc) and generally Kings and the Rich used to give gemstones in charity (like a moti ki mala or heeray ki angoothi) as remedial.

The practice without necessarily universal "classical" assent has in modern times (last hundred or two years) taken the convenient form of wearing the gemstones. Very practical from a worldly point of view! Gemstones tend to go up in value (unless you have been duped by a fly-by-nighter gemstone dealer! Yes Virginia, they do exist!!) so it is a win-win situation!

I have never received a straight answer from astrologers who habitually prescribe gemstones and so must have a repertoire/database of their efficacy! And not all do.

i think you can still wear red coral because next to jupiter mars is the best benefic for aries lagna ,further we should only try to improve the weaker planet especially when it is the lagna lord. in my case i wore emerald much before astrological advice because mercury was my lagna lord though rendered weak by combustion . thank u. i request the learned to give further enlightment.
