i was only making the point that weaker planet cannot be allowed to be as it  is especially when it is lagna lord. in my case the combust mercury was also receiving jupiter's aspect.inspite of being combust, mercury allowed me to finish undergraduation as well as continue my post graduate studies.though i have had some nervous breakdowns it was before i wore the ring.thank you.

Need some clarification on Paapakartari.

As per Prasna Marga - Papakartari is -  A sign or a planet hiving malefics on either side.
Going by this definition i would estimate atleast 50% people would have paapakartari in there charts either by sign or planet. My understanding was if any house or planet is hemmed between malefics it becomes less powerful.

If we consider all the paapakartari's based on sign or planet is there any difference between them or all give the same result.

some astrologers are of the opinion that, we have to see even Streangths and placements of any other Planets from AL (Arudha Lagna) (especially in 3H and 6H from AL) also before priscribing any Gem(s) . In my Chart my AL is in 5H. AL Lord Sun is in 6H from Arudha Lagna but afflicated as mentioned before..

So still can i Wear RUBY?

Now if both Red Coral and Ruby can be worn, then Which finger and hand should i wear?

Appreciate your inputs which are valid though..as you are aware i am not the author of "Prasna Marga" hence i can not help much on clarifying your doubts!!

With my little study and what i understood so far is PaapaKartari Yoga and it's effect(s) are more or rather more visible in the life/events of the native(s) "When the this Yoga is formed involving the Planet or planets. If you go by or see from Sign base PKY which is hemmed btwn 2 Natural Malifics, i don't think it has any MUCH significance or any effects(s) on the native(s). As you mentioned rightly even more then 50% of the people's charts will have this PKY...this is my humble opinion and ready for any correction in my understanding..

If you have studied any chart(s) where Planet or planets involved in PKY then would request you to share your observation(s)

I am not sure about the exact percentage etc but given the grief and misery I see around in the world and the types of reading requests, is it so difficult to imagine and believe that some of this misery could be indicated by the prevailing papakartari yogas in charts?

Papakartari can at times be an invitation from the 'devil' within us and tests ones ethics and morals. The path of least resistance in the short run in such cases uses the negative and selfish path, but as we all know in the long run that is not the wise choice. We do not necessarily want to take the easy path now and create a baggage of destiny for the future.
