Hello,

I am planning to get a snake (Python) as a pet.
I have heard few things about snakes and astrology e.g. Kaal Sarpa Dosha (I know that this Dosha is not related to adopting a snake), but my knowledge is very limited.

So, If anybody could advice me on this that how could a snake as a pet could effect my life under astrological prespective or I am just being overly concerned?

Non astrologically if i suggest you evolution has not domesticated the snakes and practically if you are planning to keep python as a pet it smells bad all time because i know my friend had kept it for some time it always needed a care if you are willing then to do that then its ok

and for your information animals were domesticated keeping in mind for help if you think in deep you will know but not snakes

astrologically and scientifically python and snake are different even if u r relating it to kaal sarpa dosh

kaal sarpa dost is planets hemmed between rahu and ketu

hmmm.. then it seems that I was just overly concern.

I will see a friend who already has a Python and ask about the smell issue.

It is interesting that on this vedic astrology reading forum you got such definitive advice without even a single person asking for your birthdata or giving you trouble for someone bringing in the reference to KSY when more 'normal' queries have been battered for not including their birthdata with their question and those who dared ask similar on the discussion forum were scythed into this reading forum!
