Proj, even though this is not the discussion forum but since you asked I am responding. But first tell me what you would derive from the above segment that you are picking on in isolation [obviously without paying attention to the rest of the posting!]

Appreciate you responding, Mars, Venus or Mercury might nullify Gk's effect, being in kendra, not sure how, though ? if it was jupiter, I would have been convinced.

The 10th pada in seventh house would mean that it would be visible, will career, as perceived by others be affected by partnerships, no idea ?

The way I understood it.

Apart from the significance that kendras have, since Gullika is placed in a mutable sign Dhanu, rashi drishti of Dhanu is there on the other mutable signs and hence on 4th, 7th and 10th houses in this chart and that drishti would carry the message of Gullika with it.

Hence mars, mercury and venus in 10th would have rashi drishti of dhanu with the influence of gullika in it.

Not only the 10th but the pada of the 10th being in a kendra from dhanu with gullika, would also be effected.

Similarly not only the 7th but the pada of the 7th being in a kendra from dhanu would be rashi aspected by dhanu with gullika in it.

Thanks RRji. Actually I was just trying my hands on KN Rao's PAC-DARES method. I had never seen any experienced Jyotishi giving a reading by considering the position of Gulika /Upagrahas though BPHS mentions about Upagrahas in detail.

Can you please explain why the native's career is not going through a good phase ?

Also why fasting on Fridays was suggested?

Hi Jai,

One point from a learner about the career and Venus.

Venus is the lord of 6th and 11th in this chart - 6th is related to livelihood and 11th is about earnings. The debility of Venus effects these two houses.

Venus is associated with Friday and hence fasting on Fridays could be helpful.

I am sure there are multiple other factors pointing in that direction.

There is NO WAY that you are a beginner or learner

You have been at it for a long time and I am not talking weeks or years, much longer!

Just one thing to add (maybe you had it in there and I missed being the impatient scanner these days :-(

I am a strong believer in multiple foot-prints.

Drishtis are not exclusive but definitely are additive and as Proj may say: Synergistic and potentiated!

One of the mishtis that I absolutely loved was Patissa. I was introduced to it in Chandigarh decades ago. It is a very sweet, layered sweet. Very dry, very sweet and leaves a lingering presence just as that brief brush with Punjabee culture did for me. I KNOW I will have to revisit it someday!

Let me post few not too good conditions in the chart personality wise
1. No planets around moon "kemundram Yoga", the mind wanders in all direction and native gets less satisfaction emotionally
2. Mars conjunct Venus(within 2 -deg) aspected by Saturn is tough in any relationship.
Jupitor and Saturn aspect your 10th natally and transiting Jupitor in virgo( December 2008 ) and transiting Saturn in Virgo( next year ) will improve your career front. It should be promising.
