I was told that if you cannot find out your birth time it can be guessed at by referencing the major life events on your birth chart just using the birth day. Is this true? I was told I was born in the a.m. but I am not sure about this. I was under the impression I was born at 715 in the a.m. until my father told me years later it was my sister who was born at this time and he was unsure what time precisely I was born.

If there can be a close approximation how is this derived at?

Bithtime rectifification is a very tedious task, and requires professional help.That also if you have an approximate time.
