It they are serious there should not be a problem and full name is indeed needed for namakshara considerations. When it comes to divination, "whats is in a name just does not cut it!":

6 Year of Birth:
7 Time of Birth:
8 Source of Time (birth certificate, family diary, other written record such as birthchart made at birth, parent's recall, rectified, etc):

10 Full date (YYYYMMDD) and brief description of one or two major events (marriage, childbirth, major accident, etc.):


Is that too much to ask if a jyotishi is going to spend quality time to answer to requests, sincere or otherwise?

i also ask for the religious back ground... the reason... if a hindu person asks for a advise .. he can be prescribed some remedy according to the hindu way like worshipping a particular god or chanting some mantra... but a non hindu may be reluctant to perform these rituals.... then he/she could be advised some alternate measures...

the problem is... when these remedies were first given... only hinduism was there... (i dont know wat it was called at that point of time)... if other religions had been in vogue those days... there would have been remedies for them as well...

Also I would like to confess that it is only by chance that i went through this topic. In my opinion the best way to make sure that Jyotishi Reading Requesters give all those details is to make them know about it first. As most of the requesters are first timers in this forum/website if there is a mandatory POP UP or something like that could be arranged while the requesters are Signing Up for Mystic Board, then I think it might workout.

Again, May I give my details to You? I am well aware that You are a Veteran here and its hard to get time from You but am taking my chances.
I have been trying to get my reading done in this forum for 5 months now but in vain. No one really took my case seriously.
