Please look at the attcahed Male chart
Born on 18 November 1981
in Delhi, India
at 18:15 pm

I came across various points in this chart that might prove to be detrimental to the native's marriage life and his wife-to-be.

Pt. 1 - Placement of 4th lord Sun in 7th house of spouse - indicates separation from spouse

Pt. 2 - Assuming that I have my calculation of UL right , lord of UL Sagittarius Jupiter (malefic for Taurus Ascendant) placed in Libra (ruled by Venus, malefic for Taurus ascendant)

Pt. 3 - 2nd from UL occupied by Ketu (malefic for Taurus Ascendant)

Pt. 4 - Lord of 2nd from UL, Saturn in placed in Virgo where dispositor Mercury is Combust

Please confirm/provide any contradictory views. Also, please do put forward any other points regarding marriage in this chart.

u see mars in twelfth, I see mars in fourth instead along with the moon, also I don't see mercury combust, the other placements match up, i think u r using a different ayanamsa, which one ??

Lahiri....Yes Mars is in 4th with Mo.

However, I do believe Me to be combust at 20 degrees and placed behind sun which is at 2.29 degrees.

I know that some astrologers dont believe combustion applies when sun is ahead of a planet. They might very well be right

So, I would request you to take Me without combustion (whichever way you feel right) and then continue with the analysis.

The boy is a classmate who is an love with another classmate of mine. The girl's family has very strong belief in astrology and might reject the boy if what I have described in the query is right. :-(

It will all depend on which astrologer they go to. From my experience, i can tell you marriage matching is extremely tricky business and every marriage/alliance has it share of conflicts and sorrows, its the willingness to make it work which is more important rather than putting your hands up and calling your lawyer or the cops at the first instance. Moreover both the charts need to be seen to put things in context. some of your observations seem to be correct but you have missed the exchange between mars and sun in the fourth and seventh houses. I consider combustion within ten degrees and combustion alone cannot do much.

Once again, I feel this is a futile exercise and in case he is rejected and he wants to defend himself, he needs to have some experienced and honest astrologer do the analysis and then quote his reference. since the native is from delhi, you can have him talk to some of the teachers at bharatiya vidya bhavan who are students of K N Rao, since K N Rao has stopped reading public charts.

I think I have completely miscommunicated myself and created a web I myself dont know how to get out of.

The boy is yet to approach the girl's family. This is just a precaution the boy is taking so that he is aware of what to expect once the talks start. Of course he knows that I am an amateur. And I know that he "might" need to visit an astrologer for consultation & remedies (if any are available for the problems in his chart).

However, I would request you to consider this as a preliminary opinion from a neighbourhood clinic before a patient spends a huge amount of money and time on the final diagnosis from a big expert doctor .

In this spirit, I am reposting this query to undo the confusion I have created.
