I have been adviced by two astrolgers to wear a red coral. But I think it would be harmful since mars is in 8th house in my horoscope? Why did they recommend a red coral? and should I go for it?

ALSO, IS MY SATURN BENEFIC OR MALEFIC?

I also wanted to know why Red Coral was recommended even though Mars is in 8th House in my horoscope? Will it cause trouble if I wear it?

Also, can Carnelian be worn instead of red coral?

You are born on 15/8/1987 Zodiac sign is capricorn and Ruby is the birth stone. Usually Sat the lord of Caoricorn  has precious stone in Blue colour. Ur  equation that U are born in Aug has the stone carnelian does not have any bearing as the zodiac here is Virgo against Ur capricorn. carnalian is yellow. U can't take it as U like with the mistaken idea that Mars is in 8th.

   I dont usually recommend any gemstones..Gemstones have least effect in one's life.

    Saturn  in Ur horoscope is a benefic planet. It is Asc lord. Mars is aspected by Jupiter.
   
    For capricorn Ruby is to be worn. Carnelian is yellow. Ruby is red. Well why all this.U wear a gold ring without any stone, in Ur right finger and that too in Sun finger.

    Moreover Mars in the 8th in the Sun's place aspected by Jup does not cause any problem except that U have to take care of Ur mother,house,property and if U r in the business U should not change the same  and not to invest indiscriminately.

    Mars being the Sukasthanadhipathy[tells about mother and comforts] and Labasthanadhipathi[giving gains] placed in the 8th aspected by Jupiter.

Thank you for your time and effort sir. The reason I asked about Carnelian was that I heard it can be used as an alternative to Red Coral.
Is there any mantras or any other way other than gemstones in which I can rectify my doshas?
