Query : I am confused if I should change my job or if I should continue in my current company. I have faced a major downslide in my career durign the past 2 yrs. I have an opportunity with another company. When I resigned from my current company, these guys also gave me an option for a better role. Please help me out in making this decision.

Also, how will time around May '08 be for my profession?

Period ahead will be very fruitful if you build some sort of confidance in you. Do not let your confidance to be loose. Stick to the profession in which you had completed your education, will be beneficial to you.

thanks...could elaborate a bit more please...

my interpretation says that if I have to stick to how I have been educated (MBA in Marketing), then I ought to change jobs.....as my current job is Finance related (Investment Banking) while the new job is marketing (research and consulting) related. Pleas let me know if this interpretation is right.

Also, please do throw some light on how the period wround May 08 will be for my profession.
