Oh sorry Rahulji.
One last question.

I have read that the position of Atmakaraka shows the place of emphasis in your current life.
Since in my case Atmakaraka is in lagna, what does that mean ?

Was I ignorant about something? I am curious because my chart has a strong Saturn connection.
Saturn is my atmakaraka and posited in my Lagna. I started my life with Saturn dasha (That means I died in Saturn dasha in last birth).
Moon is in a constellation ruled by Saturn.
Saturn aspects key houses in my chart (1,3,7,10).
I am just trying to get the message in this puzzle.
Any light you can throw is again appreciated.

Rajitha,

As per my understanding Saturn becomes very important in your life. certainly showing a special purpose for your soul.

Actually talking about the soul existing and its purpose may seem very complicated.    The practically important thing is narrated by my understanding below.

Saturn stands for loneliness....hard way......hard work........dissapointments in trying to get the easy way out( even in personal relations like the very  close.....winning thigs the hard way.......... but you win. Again it is in the 10th. from Arudha which means squaring the lagna. You may think that you are correct in your duty. But duty is understood better by going into the otalso going into the others shoes.. it is more wide.

You feel alone even in company, though you may enjoy a crowd. Device ways so that you can be productive in your loneliness, by changing it into aloneness.....that is Liking the loneliness. Even if you cannot do it Saturn will teach you. Your chosen subject Jyotish fills in the gap.

Chant or hear mantras of Sani, but never wear its stone.

Wow, no one had been able to tell me about this.
You are absolutely right. Whenever I try to get something in an easy way, it never materializes for me. Nothing comes easy to me. I have to work hard in everything. That is so true.
But, I have been so used to it from a long time that I am not surprised when I fail. I don't have good luck in that aspect. I just want to do my duty and not worry about what is not in my hands.

But, sometimes I don't succeed even after hard efforts.

Regarding feeling lonely, I don't feel lonely if I am in a good crowd where I have attention. But, if the attention is not on me, I certainly do feel lonely. I have always used my free time to read. I am an avid reader and I also enjoy movies. So, I take your message that I should use it constructively rather than waste it.

Regarding my job too, your prediction is correct. I always feel that I did a great job but sometimes I get it in a different way from the other side.
I should start concentrating on the others' point of view.

Regarding my health, I just wanted to run my thoughts by you.
I am currently running the dasha of Venus, my 5th & 12th lord placed in 3rd house with the lord of 3rd house, Sun. Since, it is Venus-Venus, I would be seeing the effects of Venus only.

Venus is being aspected by natal Saturn & natal Jupiter.
Also the transit Saturn was in Leo and the transit Rahu is aspecting Leo which hosts both Sun(significator of health and I house) and also my Mahadasha & AD lord.
This led to health problems. But, since transit Jupiter moved to Sagittarius and the 9th aspect falls on Leo, problems might reduce a little.
I have been having this see-saw effect in my health too.

Appreciate if you could let me know if my understanding is correct.
Rishi Rahulji,
I have looked at your responses and have been amazed by the depth of your knowledge on the science of astrology. I am myself a student of astrology and request your help in analyzing something ...

I have been facing something in life, which I have been brushing aside even though silently feeling bad.
In whatever business I try to take on for extra income, the fruits I get are very very little for the efforts I put in. Every deal looks like it is going through but fizzles out in the last minute and even if it goes through, there are a lot of obstacles.
I am unable to understand why. From looking at my chart, I cannot think of any bad luck factor.
I would appreciate if you could guide me on this.

Is it because of the Saturn aspect on the 7th house of business?
Or is it because Jupiter is retrograde in the 9th house of luck?
Thank you very much
When a planet is placed in a house, it becomes the strongest indicator of matters pertaining to that house. The 9th is considered to be the bhagyasthana or luck. Ninth in other words represents the positive karma which will be available for tapping into in this lifetime. Jupiter, the natural karaka for luck is placed in the 9th which also holds the pada of the 11th house (earnings). Jupiter is aspected by sun the lord of 3rd house and venus the lord of 12th and 5th (loss/expenditure/investment for future karma). The 3rd house holds the pada of 12th house (upapada). To add to the 'loss and reduced gain' theme, are the additional factors that Jupiter is weak in shadbala, placed in enemy's house and is with gulika. Consider this lifetime to be one of hard work and for generating good karma for future births. The presence of strong saturn which is also atmakaraka placed in first house, further confirms that possibility. You will also develop and experience joint problems (upper part of body possibly).

Has there been experienced the absence of siblings (lack of support, loss of or from siblings or something negative? This is to help a research I am following up so tell me in details about 3rd house issues, publicly or privately) some disorder pertaining to hearing or throat and a certain lack of initiative or energy at times?

You come across to people, or they expect you to be rather energetic, a quick thinker and somewhat assertive if not confrontational or combative. Is that true? These are people who see and meet or work with you and not how you come across on the internet (which can be quite different and as far as I have seen correlates better with lagna than arudha!)

You have an interesting distribution in your chart. Your 7th lord (business) is placed on the 11th pada and your 7th pada is placed in the 11th house. Hence this inner urge to start a business. After marriage the current negative balance situation will change particularly if you become a junior partner, in other words allow your spouse to handle the planning, and perhaps register in spouse's name etc.

There will be changes in your personal/family life in the next couple of years (positive) and you will find your 'luck' improving. However, keep the 'karmic investment' in mind all through life, if you choose to take my advice. It would benefit you if you give charity to or even better volunteer in an organization that supports children's causes, particularly their health or educational needs.

First of all, Rohiniji, thanks for your analysis.

Below is my feedback :

I never realised the impact of Gulika with Jupiter.
Also, you mentioned that Jupiter is in enemy's house. I thought Saturn and Jupiter are both neutral to each other. Am I wrong?
Does retrogression of Jupiter impact the effects in any way?

Also, I thought that the aspect of Sun was good, Sun being a friend of Jupiter and thought that would give me acquaitainces from high places, especially through spouse (which has been true).
Also, I thought Venus's aspect was good since Venus is a kona lord.
So, according to you, weak Jupiter and aspect of 3rd lord is cause of problems.

Did u say I would have joint problems because of Saturn's position in Lagna? Will it manifest when Saturn matures (48 years)?
Also my atmakaraka is debilated in navamsa, even though the debilation is cancelled, due to its exaltation dispositor (venus) being with it.
I don't know what that means.

Regarding the 3rd house matters, I do have a younger brother. He is fine in general. We share a good rapport but there is no denying the fact that I have spent money on him but out of my own will.
My communication is good, I think and so is my creativity.

I do have slight ear problem in the sense that my hearing is not very sharp but at the same time not bothersome enough to have a big impact.
I should say, maybe my ear is like 7 out of 10.

You are right about the lack of energy. I do face that a lot of times. I thought it was due to my Mars being combust.

Can you tell me why you thought that there would be some problem in my 3rd house? My 3rd lord Sun is in his moolatrikona which is a good placement and should do good to 3rd house significations.

You are right about what people think about me. Did you say so because of exalted Mercury in Arudha ? The assertiveness is because of Mars?

I never noticed the 7th pada in 11th and viceversa. That is an interesting point.
Actually, the business I am doing is registered in my wife's name. Still, I am facing difficulties.

Hope you predictions in the next few years come true. If you don't mind me asking, I would like to ask you how you thought so?

It is funny you should mention about charity to children related activities because for the last year or so, I have this urge within me to do so.
I have donated considerable money to temples.
I have always wanted to do something to old people, soldiers and children.
Not just giving money but also making an impact and difference in their lives. Let me see if I can do so.

Again, could you please tell me why you think giving children related charity would help me? Is it because of my Venus dasha (lord of 5th)?

Regarding the karmic investment, I certainly do have it in mind. After I started reading about astrology, I have started thinking everything in a karmic perspective. I still have to change a lot but I am atleast glad I am on the way.

Thank you very much for your analysis.
