The importance of ayanamsa in astrology in known to all those who are beginners.

Let us discuss the method of calculation wrt to different techniques.

I hope we shall limit to 3 techniques.

1) Lahiri

2) KP

3) Surya Sidhanta.

Out of which 2 & 3 tend to produce correct results in predictions. This is my experience.

But surely i would like to invite all to explain how they are calculate at the very first instant.

Please dont make it a jinx, it should be learning, knowledge sharing, and research.

But isn't LAHIRI, THE MOST COMMONLY USED Ayanamsa in India...?

Then is it an incorrect ayanamsa that is being used so prevalently...?

Certainly Lahiri is not the correct one. It is an approximation.

Yes certainly i said, we are using this because it is accepted by govt., and we dont have enough knowledge on it, and we dont have alternate means.

That is why before debating right and wrong let us know first how it is calculated.

I invite everyone, interested to present, learn and present, the way of calculation of ayanamsa.

The star revathi is certainly missing in the sky since long decades, that is why lahiri adopted 180 deg from chitta for his calculation.

But if you use this calculation as a base of prediction, certainly things wary.

My horoscope is typical example of this.
