      I am under the impression that gandharva vivaha nullifies the horoscope mismatch. Horoscope doesn't work in the case of love marriage and gandharva vivaha.

      Can I request the augustus members of this forum to elaborate and clarify on this issue.

When a Chap and a Maiden decide to unite in a sacred long term committed relationship, without the consent of Parents or Guardians, then such a wedding is called as “Gandharva Vivaha”.

In general terms its referred to as “Love Marriage” which may or may not follow the Wedding Commandments.

Mutual love and consent between bride and the bridegroom, are the only conditions to bring about such a marriage.

I don't think that gandharva vivaha nullifies the horoscope mismatch as many love marriages ends in either depression or divorce.
