The ill health of parents after the birth of child , are all Karmic. Dr B V Raman in his book on How to judge horoscope ,describe that any thing happening to the child from 0-4 years are all due to the good and bad acts of mother, from 4-8 years,it is due to Bad or good deeds of the father, and from 8-12 years , it is due to the bad or good deeds of the child in previous birth. Likewise, the influence of the child birth has link to previous karma of the parents and that of the child. Still birth of Child, or Mother dieing immediately after the child birth or Parents meeting accident after the child birth, or other related  person in the family getting affected after the child birth are nothing new to you and you would have heard many such instances. These are purely karmic .It is all due to porvajanma karma . In the analysis of karmaphalitha, Dr B V Raman , elaborates , why such things happen. Incidentally, it is not correct to attribute the death of the parent on the child straight away. The death could happen because of the other factors too. One has to go through the horoscope of the person. For instance, in a horosope of a parent, who is destined to die after the birth of child because of maraka power coming into force, one cannot attribute the cause of the death on the child's birth. Similarly, a child horoscope may be such it should be born and become orphan immediately after its birth, then the influence of the child planetary condition could act on the parent. It is said  in the standard dictums of astrology , if the SAde Sathi operates in the horoscope of child,it would  effect the parents not the child. This Karmic connection between the child and parent is to be studied taking into the consideration of each individual horoscope either jointly or individually. Remedies do exist in each and every case, but it should be appreciated that none can conquer time. if the kala is Good , then everything would fit into place by itself. In this connection I wish to bring to your notice  of one such case that came to me for the analysis. The father of the native had a strong defect in the horoscope, that he could not have any progeny,but the mother of the native  had to get a  longlived child. I suggested the father of the native to  pray to Hanuman and recite hanuman chalisa during the pregnancy of his wife. The man did not do it, but suddenly , when in the women was carrying in the 7th month, the doctors noticed some rupture in the sack of women. The father started reciting Hanuman chalisa then on and the lady successfully delivered the child  prematurely.

For your last question, i wish to answer it like this. Vedic astrology suggest, proper time for each and everything. Right from matching of horoscope , engagement, marriage, betrothal, other functions like poochutal, Semantham etc to be done at the auscipious time and place. and above all the divine grace and blessings is very much necessary. This is the first remedy.  In the modern age, with popularity of intercaste & love marriage , the importance for the dates are given a go by and individuals go to the Registrar office and get married paying some bribe. What can one expect, one gets the witness of corrupt reigistrar instead of blessing of the God and parents. They land up in  problems . In such cases too, there are remedies, which could be  undertaken. The remedies are to be given based on the each indiviudal horoscope on case to case basis.

As suggested by me keep reciting the mantra , all your problems would solved soon and you will  see light in the tunnel soon. Wear yellow, and green, pink, cream colors and avoid blue, black or red  totally.  Recitation of Hanuman chalisa and the other mantra would soon bring you success

Incidentally, Dr B V Raman suggest that prediction for child upto 12 years should not be done as it would tentaamount to Prediction of God.
