Philosphically I think what I have learned (Thanks to AJ and a string of websites) is that there is no such thing as a bad planet. The planets are only the agents of our Karma, helping us to resolve conflicts and restore necessary deficiencies. (I hope I got this right)

With that said, Venus is listed as an evil planet on the chart from my computer program.  I don't know why, I think i missed something, but I thought as an Aries ascendant my bad planets were mercury and saturn. Here I was all joyful to have Venus in my house of gains, and now I'm hearing thats a bad thing. Anyhow, I was also told today that the Venus is exceptionally bad for me being that it is related to demons or something like that, and something about my nakshatra anurhada and ketu being spiritual and something about the occult blah blah blah. I was really confused and I kinda tuned out. So I bring my question to the forum. Will I experience problems because of my Venus? What does this Demon thing have to do with anything?

In my chart, Venus, my atmakaraka is the lord of the 7th and 2nd. It occupies the 11th house, Aquarius, alongside the sun and combust mercury. My 11th house is being aspected by Saturn in the 5th, Leo. What are the affects of Venus as my AK, and also with this particular placement and potential...evilness...lol... how does it affect my potential for marriage and wealth? Is the Saturn stunting these things at all? Is that why I'm a poor spinster?   Just kidding.

P.S. I dont know if this matters, but I've got Uranus in my Venus house of spouse and Venus in the 12th house in Navamsa...I hear thats bad.

Your Venus is powerful and well placed to do good in your chart both as:

1. 2nd lord (wealth) in 11th (gains, income) and as

2. 7th lord (marriage, spouse) in the 11th.

3. It is powerful in Shadbala and strongly placed in its own sign in D-9. The 12th house placement in D-9 shouldn't bother you -  of all possible planets placed in the 12th house, only Venus is considered comfortable because it is it's natural house of exaltation, since it coincides with Pisces.

4. It is also in the nakshatra of Bhagyesh Jupiter and that will increase its ultimate auspiciousness.

5. Note that it is 7th lord (marriage) from both janma lagna and Moon lagna, thereby increasing it's significations.

6. The delays in money and honey are mainly due to Saturn's aspect on both Venus AND the 7th house from BOTH lagna and Moon lagna. The good thing is that the aspect to the 7th house is exalted and that to the 11th is it's mooltrikona rashi.

Jan 2009 onwards will bring you plenty of both things you currently seek. You will gain from your marriage and do well for yourself. Remember, gain is of many kinds - happiness, peace, money, opportunities, love. Post-marriage your long harbored dreams will steadily begin to come true. Good luck in your pursuit of astrology. Maybe you will get further than I did on my own! It is all VERY confusing and yet so enlightening at the same time! I still have no idea what half the stuff means in my chart and I have been spending hours over many months trying to understand. I have considered taking a class..structure and learning in an organized fashion I feel is necessary for me when it comes to trying to even remotely understand astrology! So good luck to you!
