Thanks a lot for your effort in analysing my chart & for your kind reply. Some of your findings have been so true in my case.
You have mentioned about the income through land dealings. I got some insight about this astrological association after i had unintentionally (meaning not with great effort) bought land and set to make good income from it. Infact this very event triggered my interest in astrology.
When you say "holistically" what do you hint at? I've been quite confused about the factors (or weightage) to be given to occupants of a house ,its lords and other factors.
To take this example, 9th house has four planets & mercury is the lord of the house, whereas saturn -lord of ascendant- resides in this house. So how do I analyse as to which is the strongest planet that would affect this house.

I had not known about Kalasarpa dosha. Can you kindly tell more about this? -is it caused by the presence of Rahu in 7th or is it because of ketu in 1st?.

Kala Sarpa Dosha is formed if all the planets including lagna are placed between the head and tail of Sarpa i.e Rahu n Ketu. It may cover house 1 to 7 , 2 to 8, 3to 9 etc. Kala sarpa dosha produces sudden down falls in one’s life depending on the houses( Head n Tail of sarpa)they affect. In your case it is 1st n 7th house indicating marital life/ relations. There is also another theory that this dosha doesn’t affect common people but only the rulers( People in politics).

By holistic what I mean is:- (i)The attributes of any particular house can’t be derived solely from the lord of that house and his placement in the chart.
(ii) For example Sani, the lagna lord in your chart placed in the 9th is powerful than the Sun who is 8th lord. (iii)Jupiter as adverse 12th n 3rd lord also may not play a major role in this regard, whereas the 10th lord Venus in the 8th is weak.(iv) Therefore it boils down to 9th lord Mercury in the 10th n yoga karaka Sani(Also karaka for profession) to decide your profession. (v)Since profession is mostly linked to education ruled by 4th house, it’s lord Kuja placed in his own 11th house may bestow income thro lands, engineering profession etc.
You are running Rahu dasa/ Sani bhukti till May 2009.Rahu indicates travel to far off places and he is placed in a movable n watery sign Cancer. The 9th n 12th house lords of foreign travel are also in the 9th with yoga karaka Sani in it. Therefore it is most likely that you may get opportunities to travel abroad during Rahu dasa.

Since im very very new to astrology i guess i would need quite some time to understand your inputs regarding the strengths of planets. I have very little knowledge as of now about Shadbala & astakavarga. But correct me if im wrong in assuming that it is through these methods that you say that saturn is stronger than sun.
   And yes, your findings are indeed true - im an engineer by profession and as i said in my earlier reply it is the prediction related to lands which came true and awoke my interest in vedic astrology.
  However, when you mention travel to far off places are you referring to something like moving into and settling in a far off place for a long time or  a short time travel. Incidentally, my mother says that when i was a child ,an astrologer had said that i would settle in a different place(possibly country).
