my husband and me are both  manushya gana . isnt it said someone who is rakshash gana married to deva gana is not a good match?

Other than what I have heard sometimes from here & there, I know nothing of astrology.

Once my friend, who is a budding astrologer told me the following aspects :

NARA Gana  - charateristic : Very hard working, poor communication, humble, weak disposition etc.

Rakshasa Gana : materialistic, strong, quarrelsome,  pleasure-lover, strong disposition, good but coarse communication.

Deva Gana  : Non-materialistic, takes pleasure in finer things, strong disposition, very good communicator, spiritual-minded.


Now, if one is getting in inter-gana marriage, then some clash of values may take, which may be good or bad, depending on the situation.

A deva-deva combination may be good for spiritual case, may not be good for materialistic gains.

A deva-rakshasa combination may create problems in spiritual direction & taste wise. However, rakshasa gana will pressurize deva to work hard for materialistic gains which is required for todays world.

A rakshas-nara combination was supposed to be very bad condition in past. However, the hard-working nature of Nara combined with materialistic nature of Rakshasa may work wonders in todays world.


I think, if one considers these aspects, then inter-gana marriage is also acceptable if other signs of horoscope are compatible.
