According to Parashara:
1, 5, 9 are of Pitta humor-prakriti (FIRE element)

2, 6, 10 are of Vata humor (EARTH element)

3, 7, 11 are of Tridhatu humor (AIR element)

4, 8, 12 are of Kapha humor (WATER element)

On the other hand

Sun and Mars are of Fire element (perhaps ketu too since it is kujavata)
Moon and Venus are of water element
Mercury is of earth element
Saturn is of Vayu element (and rahu because of the linkage given in Chara considerations and [Jupiter?]

Jupiter is of Akasha element (not included in the standard four, but since Akasha is associated with sound which is associated with Air as its medium, perhaps secondarily of Vayu nature -- ?)
