I heard somewhere that ven in lagna for libra is maraka ... how come a planet owning its house be maraka .... satrun being in 12 is it good for Libra lagna ...


please suggest

Just because it is lord of 8th (ayu), venus in its moolatrikona tula would not turn into maraka. On the contrary, it will contribute towards longevity. If other malefic factors influence, some chronic ailment affecting kidneys, lower generative, excretory organs may pose some problems in later years. But not maraka by itself.

Saturn is yogakaraka for libra and its presence in the 12th would reduce its benefic potential and perhaps make the individual indolent (lazy) and having low physical energy levels and make one a slow walker and slow talker.

But how will it effect 5 & 4 house ..... as you say they are the general effects of bad satrun .... here if jupiter being strong or aspected by mars e.t.c can make a person active even if Sat at 12 which can be seen in NT Rama Rao who is CM of AP.

and Sat at 12 can also help to positive for 12 house by giving longevity and complete settlement in foreign countries ??

HARK! My young friend (assuming you revealed your correct chronological age! About half mine, hence I address you as 'young' ) and use labels accurately! What I posted was not a 'reading'! You provided a few bricks, but what I said cannot represent a wall or even siding of a house, or a brick oven, etc! Reading is a finished product and not bits and pieces! If indicative of good, more the merrier, if indicative of evil, the few the better! Astrology in a capsule! You may wish to swallow it or just put it in a safe place. Astrology, unlike most food items and medicines has an infinite shelf life and never expires!

But, I am curious to learn why you think that XII is related with complete settlement in foreign countries? Please note, I am not saying you are entirely wrong, but just want to learn a bit more about why you think so and sound so convinced about that?

First of all i would like to apologize, This apologize is straight from the heart as i understood that i did a mistake by just putting an incomplete question on top of it replying in bits again. I truly understood the time you have spent in replying mail for making me understand the mistake. This is one big difference that our generation is lacking off,  we just take things for granted

Before starting the question, i would like to give some brief description on what my interest is, I have started studying astrology books in 2007 where i even had raised some questions about spirituality and was answered by you, from then still now i was going through a different cycle where my whole life has got a change.

I am totally interested not just to read my horoscope but to understand and learn vedic astrology, I have joined M.A in Astrology even though my profession is s/w.

I started to do a RND on understanding satrun cause i have see many charts including mine how satrun effects, actually i have started the thread wrong, i should have started asking about a conversation of starun taking Satrun for each lagna

Now coming to the question which i was asking

Satrun, A planet which has a capacity of delaying things, is said to be good if it is located in 6,8,12 cause it will delay the bad effects. Now wanted to understand satrun being yogakaraka for Libra when situated in 12 house what could be the effects ?

as per my understandings or my observations

Satrun being lord of 4 house in 12 will make the person stay away from his house at some point of time, to understand it could be for good or bad reason, i would say it might be good for libra as 12 is 9 from 4, and being yogakaraka may not do bad. again it depends on dasa.

Does Satrun delay expenditure is one question ? I think yes cause 12 house being Virgo basically a very good commercial house, will make satrun a bit more mature in terms of handling money, if Mercury is located properly then what ever it may give a bit more maturity in terms of spending money ( As per my assumptions)
