It is said that souls before they take any incarnation on earth approve the design of their own forth-coimg lives , and the lessons it would entail with the help of great spiritual masters or almighty. Before you take birth , you get to decide about your life to a significant extent notwithstanding certain compulsions get imposed on you based on your previous lifes' karma .
You take birth after you 'agree' for all... right from the birth to the death. Based on your virtues , you get flexibilities /facilitations to have ease in life and based on the vices , you get to learn the lessons which you too pre-approve to learn this time , and those are the ones which give you 'hardship'. You are given birth only after you agree to all.
If in ongoing life , if a new wish emerges in your subconscious , it gets fulfilled based on your accumulated karma of this life or the previous only if it doesnt interfere with the pre approved design of your life , and it remains as your free will.
On the other hand if you, all of sudden start desiring something which doesnt fit into the said plan , would essentially remain as unfullfilled ,unavailable fixed track with no flexibilities to go around it.
You agree for the design of people (good people or bad people) you meet , you agree for the good outcomes and bad outcomes too.
This is what destiny is.

"Destiny is the ordained design of life as an outcome of Karma and sequential choices 'across the lives'.

The way you stated it all, "certain" was so beautiful and clear and so well orchestrated like the final score of let us say Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony! The final product that we all enjoy as different players play that 6th symphony and its nuances!

We forget though that even someone as gifted as Ludwig or Amadeus perhaps destroyed many leaves and trees (paper) as they finalized and put to paper their SCORES though those arrived from the same heavens and heavenly being from which Jyotish did, perhaps?

The so many versions of BPHS, for instance with variations and corrections and modifications that we see and speak about?

Are these 'drafts' at least some of those that we are fighting over while we seek the final version?

Which our Jha ji has informed us, a few times, is the chowkhambaa edition published from Varanasi?

We pick up from any point we can grab and then move ahead judiciously using free-will, fate and whatever little reasoning MA chose to give us -- without ever claiming prematurely, that we alone have the answer, THE FINAL ANSWER!

Object has to be in a subjects' hands for it to fulfill the valid purpose of its own existence.  A subject has a prejudice inbred in its interpretation , a flaw given by nature.
Having said that objectivity can not escape from subjectivity.This is inherent circumstantial helplessness of objectivity and subjectivity both.
These subjective drafts will gradually perish if they would not stand the test of time.
Well it is just the time which will eventually solve the dispute as always. 'Mahakaal' is the portal of termination.

It is not the object or subject or subjectivity that is responsible for the confusion, but communication! Even if we use speech, writing -- not all information gets transferred completely or clearly but expression, perception and biases etc get in the way. [Both senders and receivers...!]

I think nodes were only supposed to hint at that, but not resolve that matter!
